Hello everybody! It's me again, HY! How are you today? I just had a pretty busy time, because I just had a week of bad health due to a COVID infection two weeks ago. And I had to be treated at home for seven days. Due to three shots of the vaccine, everything was very good, there was no danger to life. And then I had to get right back to my job at my company. A week goes by pretty hard because of the busy work, I get a relaxing weekend.
On weekends like this, I choose a picnic, return to nature, immerse myself in the fresh air of mountains, forests, trees, and clear streams with my friends. Where I come from is a stream at the head of the North Hoa River, which we were led by the local people not long before. And I had the opportunity to come back today to enjoy a very relaxing weekend. We started downtown around 3:00 PM and prepared some food for dinner, then sent a car to the people's house at the foot of the mountain.
We started to climb the mountain along the stream bank that flows to the main Hoa Bac river, from the base of the mountain to the stream where we will set up camp for nearly an hour to climb. The road is not so hard to walk, it's just climbing up the steep slopes, and it's kind of exciting for me to be able to train my own health, and see it as an adventurous exploration of mountains and forests after a week of hard work.
Nature is something that's invaluable to people like us, hungry to a nature lover, that's no better than a discovery like this. The mountain we climbed was an area where people planted forests, with trees that were mostly melaleucas leaf glue. Walking under the tall trees in the shade, you would not lose a bit of strength, but you would feel the cool, fresh atmosphere that the busy city of smoke and dust never had. We arrived at the stream, surrounded by large, flat rocks. Cooking utensils we borrowed from the nice host in the mountains and brought with us. When we went up to the forest, the essentials that we brought were knives, sickles so we could chop wood, lighters so we could build a stove, a pot or two to cook, rice to cook, and some food to cook for meals.
We brought raw pork, and we made them into bacon, by hanging them on the stove so they could cook slowly, and cook rice and soup. We brought our fishing rods, and the braised fish dish was the product that we got from fishing in the stream. I don't know what kind of fish they are, but this stream is inhabited by a lot of fish. In the evening we had rice with fish stock, meat stock, vegetable soup, bacon, and cucumber. Because there were only three people who ate a lot of food, we ate them with shrimp noodles the next day. Breakfast, we had coffee and tea.
Being in harmony with nature, soakin up the cool stream, lying on the rock at night listening to the rushing stream, are the experiences that only nature can bring. We only had two weekends, so we left the stream the next afternoon. Together to discover and enjoy the best things with our friends in this place, nature is truly the medicine that heals everything, helps us relax, release stress, all the fatigue, and pressure of life or work dissipate when breathing, live slow moments, no phone waves, lying apart from the busy life outside, really great. You had nothing to worry about, only people, trees, the sound of running streams, the sound of birds singing somewhere on the branches, the sound of crickets, the sound of frogs and frogs when the night fell. Take a deep breath, lay on the rock looking up at the sky with dim moonlight… These are the things that nature brings to us.
I wish you a very productive week and thank you for following my article today. Hopefully, through my pictures, it helps you to relax and feel happy. See you in the next articles.
