Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog, I am again participating in the photo contest organized by @qurator, Qurator's Photo Quest | Power Lines. For this challenge I could have taken photos of the power lines on the poles without going too far; they abound at my workplace. However, I find the world of electricity fascinating, and precisely because of work, while visiting another municipality, I had the opportunity to visit the Sotillo electrical substation, located in the Bolívar Municipality, Sucre State, Venezuela.
Electrical substations are primarily composed of transformers. These are responsible for receiving electrical power, regulating the voltage to transform it into the appropriate voltage for distribution, whether to towns or industries. The photo shows the electrical substation that supplies power to the town of Sotillo. This complete system displays both the input and output power lines, which are responsible for distributing electricity safely and within the required distances.
This is my entry in Qurator's Photo Quest competition.
Thank you for reading
