For a while I have been looking for what changed inside of me; why does it seem I have lost passion for everything? It started with guitar, then Hive. I had earlier begun relegating on my duties on Hive and then was not encouraged to build as I wanted to.
Even beyond Hive, I was not consistent with things I had put my energy on; I always end up giving up—we can also call it quitting—coming back to ground zero to think about my life again.Then it all came to why all this was happening: I lost sight of what I wanted. I easily lose desire and vision. I stopped making decisions based on my insights of the future and started making them based on what I can see of now.
I have been spending quite a lot of time in my place of solitude, thinking and meditating about my life, asking myself, What do I truly want, what do I truly seek and what do I desire? These are questions men need to ask themselves in order to have a vision, in order to build a future and become successful. I am still asking myself these questions today and would have to tomorrow.
Why so?
These are answers that need not to be forgotten; they need to be remembered every day; they need to be pledged to the early hours of the day and late before bed. So that the mind can always remember to work towards those dreams.
I have found mine, and what I want is actually beyond Hive but at the same time, I have asked myself this question too: **What do you want with Hive?**
I could recall my early days of Hive, when I was still using the starstrings01 account. I wanted to be more; I want to be able to contribute rather than just coming here every day to write posts and then leave. Then I found a way I could be more; I found the newbies initiative, which gave me a sense of purpose.
As much as Hive has been there for me, I would continue on that passion, even though I cannot be here every day, but I would make sure I am open to contributing to others. To live by the quote I love the most: "We rise by lifting others."
Right now, I may not be very active, posting every day on Hive but I will try to maintain a bit of consistency. I am at the moment focused on building my life career as an AI/ML engineer and the best way in which I can be active here on Hive while building that career is to write and share it with you. I may begin writing more technical contents based on the projects I am building, which may be mostly related to data science and machine learning. I hope they will come useful.
I will do my best not to let my content be limited to that since I am more than just that. I hope I get to show more of me to you all soon.
