It was a small farewell party to a beautiful couple who were relocating in search of greener pasture. Who i just got to know within two months.
This couple visited my family to tell them that they'll be leaving the country soon, am pretty sure in that same manner the visited other families as well to give them the good news. This piece of information prompted room for memory creation. Every weekend Christian meeting opens door for pictures capturing. They also wanted and loved it, asking some what the will give them before the leave. I remember that coming from the place they got banana bread. Why did i mention this particular one? This particular Christian brother invited few Christian families for a small party telling them what it was all and and to the couple it was definitely a surprise. At the party memories were created for the couple to hold on to as the leave, lots of game were played, dance done, singing and lots more. In one of the games played people who took the microphone to say what the will miss about them literally cried because the young man in question is a selfless person, caring and loving nothing minding the age, language barrier or what so ever.
While the couple were handed over the microphone for their vote of thanks, he couldn't speak for twenty minutes. He was overwhelmed with tears for those minutes, when he managed to speak a word, he said we were gifted banana bread and when we were eating this morning we cried. He started crying again, but later he managed to speak thanking the people that came around and the family that organized the party.
After the main program was done and still at the after party, i was busy echoing the music that was playing in the background when someone whispered into my ears and said, you did say anything or don't you have anything you will miss about them? I smile and said, if there's anyone who is and will miss them it should be me. She was amazed and eager to hear what i have to say, i mean i have just been you people for two months and it feels like i have known them forever. The wife smiles with reservations when she wants to greet and he too i continued, aside them you're the other person who relate with well as a single person, so please tell me, why wouldn't i miss them.
She smiled and said you'll still get to relate with others it's just with time
