A man seated right beside me said in a party said he should be in the kitchen. He's a man and the husband, he shouldn't be in kitchen with her. Who said that women should die in the kitchen that it's there place. Who placed this inequality between this two genders?
That a song an artist did even said it all. Saying" them say a woman place nah for kitchen, she supposed fry all the chicken, no supposed talk for meeting, concern herself with the cleaning." Says who, invented by who? Which scientific research proved it?
Observing our world today and moving back the memory lane you'll agree with me that there's a huge difference between the once raised from 1900 and now. Parents who live and raised male children then believed that they are the male and doesn't belong to the kitchen, shouldn't know their left from their right in the kitchen while the opposite gender sisters of theirs should do everything, serve them food to eat, clear the table as the will be living their father's home to go start up their own homes in their husband's houses, thereby subjecting them to slavery under the headship of a "man", who can't do anything for himself but can only talk in the meeting.
Since a woman will be getting married, leaving the fathers house who trained her to go be with another, there's no sending the girl child to school. So they believe, and send only the boy child. Thereby making the girl child handicapped to seeing the light, speaking in the meeting and not just ending in the kitchen.
Though some still have the notion that their wives or even sisters should be local, not washing clothes with the machine, no use of dish washers, blenders and other life made easy machines but he would want to drive in car, order for bush mean rather than go hunting, drinking table and go to river to fetch it. Those with this mentality are the people we call garbage in garbage out. Even when the travel, exchange experiences they would still trash the idea of seeing females around them suffer and stress.
Today i went for a small party that i was invited, guess what, it was the host and the wife in the kitchen, who said man shouldn't cook, serve himself and others as well. Gone are those days, today a lot of things have sophisticated, some ladies say they're in the Gen-z world while others say it's 21st century. All the same that chair and table they feel those days a woman shouldn't seat, i bet you today the seat on it and even ones higher than it because today most men do not want a liability and uneducated wife and mother for their children.
Girl children are doing well now, educate and empower them.
