My cooking community friends how are we doing? It's another week of cooking contest from @qurator tagged cabbage. Cabbage is a healthy and nutritious vegetable that can be eaten raw or cooked. I am aware of the purple and white cabbage but do not know if there's any other. For this cooking contest i will be making a cabbage sauce with the white one as that's the only one within my reach for now.
For every pot on fire there must be ingredients needed. For my cooking, the following are my ingredients
- 1 Habanero pepper
- 1 teaspoon of curry
- 1 seasoning cube
- 90ml of vegetable oil
- 100g of blended tomato mix
- 300g of White cabbage
- 1 medium size of onion
- 150g of beef
First step
Wash my cabbage well. Slice it, my pepper, onion and meat.
Second step
Put my pot on fire and pour in the vegetable oil. Introduced the meat, fry it and scoop it out.
Third step
In the same pot, add my onion.
Add the tomato mix and fry so the water dries up.
Here am introducing my curry.
Next is to add my seasoning cube.
It's time to add the meat and making sure i didn't stop frying.
Bring in the Habanero pepper
Lastly add my cabbage stir well and bring down my pot.
Here my sauce is ready to be served. You make use of it to eat rice, moi moi, yam, pasta or even fried chips. This sauce is banga for anything you decide to eat with it.
