I well know that cake and meat pie are snacks that are baked. The first time i tasted baked chin-chin i fell in love with it. I usually do not like oil and buy snacks out can put in danger, as the commercial producers can make use of their oil countless times putting the health of the final consumers in jeopardy. The last time i purchased chin-chin to snack on, my throat always choke me whenever it enters my mouth.
When my i tasted the baked one i didn't waste time but asked the giver for the recipe. She told me she purchased it and gave me the contact of the producer. I contacted her immediately and she told the price to pay. Two days after my class with her i went on to do practical. So the receip i have brought to you through my blog for free.
Ingredients for my baked chin-chin
- 800g of all purpose flour
- 1 cup of a type of powered milk
- 2 pieces of egg
- 250g of margarine
- 90ml of water
Step one
My step one was dry to dry. It's important that you mix all dry ingredients together, please make it's important that you make any mistake in this stage. I added my milk then my margarine mix it well before adding my egg. I nided it well and gradually add my water. Kept niding until it came together well.
Stage two
I had to cut into small parts, make use of my rolling pin rolled well and cut, then placed them in my baking tray but before that i applied small margarine on the my baking tray so the chin-chin doesn't stick to my pan. While doing this i preheated my oven and set my tim for twenty minutes. Don't give thirty because it's been cut into small size.
After twenty minutes it's ready. Allow for five minutes to cool off before canning it.
The one on my palm are some of the ones that i didn't pay attention to and they got burnt.
After my practical, i shared with family and few friends then an order came from a friend to deliver, and she was specific about not adding sugar to it. Over the holidays. So did we deliver? yesterday and payment validates order.
