The faces of Aba Hive members were radiating in happiness, smile, joy and laughter. Over the wedding held during the weekend in the city of Aba, Abia State Nigeria.
It's a good to give birth to child, watch him/her grow and get married. The joy in the parents heart are unmatchable. The joy in the faces of the parents of the couple, their friends and well wishers were deep and pure. We watched @fokusnow our Hive in the city of Aba take another beautiful Hive member home as his wife. I tagged it Hive wedding. One of the special days in his life.
First, when he announced the date of his wedding, i was excited and at the same time sad. I know you would want to find out why am sad in the middle of joyous moments. Well i will tell. For some time i have been out of Aba town to handle some things in my bucket list hoping to be home soon. But one thing led to another. I promised myself that i was never gonna miss his wedding for anything but unfortunately i did technically.
We counted in weeks and weeks to hours until the Big was just before us, that morning all i could do was reach through one of his socials congratulating him. It was just 10 minutes before the time given that i saw a vital information that he dropped for those who were not in town at the moment, letting them know they could join through zoom, as he had dropped the ID and passcode.
I joined the event on time which made me was able to see some Hive present as at the time i joined. @bakinba was present, @sammyhive, @ijebest @beauty197 was in the row of those who joined through zoom. And others i am not able to mention.
It was a beautiful moment and an awesome memory. Joining never made me felt distanced, i was with, the walking of the groom didn't capture much attention but the bride? She caught us. Her facial glam, her gown and her walking in said unspoken words. If someone should walk up to me now and ask how was your weekend. I tell him/her that i spent it in the city of Aba celebrating the Hive couple, the first ever #hive# wedding that has happened and i witness. The Hiveans really supported there own. Once again congratulations
