Hello, ladies of Hive!
This is my entry in the ladies of hive community contest #97.
And it is my first time participating in this activity.
Thank you Ladies of Hive for this contest which allows me and everyone to share their thoughts and learnings.
Today, I will share with you what is the most useful thing I own.
When I think about this question, I have a lot of things in my mind and it’s hard to choose one specific thing that I mostly use than others.
There are a lot of things that are very useful in my everyday life. So, I choose a thing that is useful for me and I used it in my everyday life. Even though this thing is not remarkable, I give it value as a woman.
So, I think about a thing that I use every day, every time that I wake up, every after I eat, when brushing my teeth, and checking my appearance.
And that thing is a mirror.
A mirror, indeed.
I'm a girl who looks at my reflection in the mirror all the time. Before leaving the room after waking up, I check in the mirror to see whether I have anything on my face. I check in the mirror when brushing my teeth and washing my face to make sure I did both tasks properly. I also check myself in the mirror after eating to see if I have anything in my teeth. I also use the mirror when applying cream to my face and doing my makeup. I also pose in front of the mirror when I want to feel like an artist or a model. I look in the mirror, even while dancing. I am a mirror girl, then. I always carry a mirror with me.
And this is the thing that I can’t leave in my house.
When there are instances that I forgot to bring, I feel restless and I will find something that I can see my reflection. Sometimes I use my camera phone and glass window or borrow a mirror from someone.
We ladies, really cared for our appearance, right? So, I’m just like anybody. And I know that many here can relate as well.
So, even though this is the thing we do not usually notice, but it helps us a lot.
Sometimes when we want to talk to ourselves, we look at ourselves in the mirror. We talk to ourselves heartedly.
If the mirror can talk or has life, then the mirror knows who we are. The mirror can be our friend where we can lean.
So, a mirror for me is the most useful thing that I own.
