Finally, my youngest is fully recovered!!!
I noticed after staying at home more with sedentary lifestyle, myself and my youngest kept 'electrocuting' each other (not sure if that word exists, lol). Husband said that we needed to go out, to move the body and to walk. So, he insisted on bringing us out. At the same time, he said he wanted me to try a food.
Let's go Pavilion!
I was rather sleepy because I seldom got out of the house at 4pm. Usually it is my resting or napping time after 2 hours teaching my youngest son (he is homeschooling). Nonetheless, I still dragged my feet because the Boss had given the order.
The moment we reached Pavilion, we did some walking first, before we ended up at 'non-halal' Food Court for our early dinner at 5:30pm. He said this particular stall sells super nice yam rice, famous from Bukit Mertajam.
BM Yam Rice!!!

The Food Court is so spacious and extremely clean.

All the food on the menu was so appetizing. I was very hungry at that time because I only ate a slice of peanut butter sandwich for lunch. The menu doesn't look exhaustive, and focusing on what they are good at!

He ordered a yam rice with stew pork set and a yam rice with pork innards & pork meat set (don't want pork blood cube).

Yam Rice with Stew Pork
Just look at the huge portion. And there were 6 big chunks of stew pork. Comes with a pickled vegetables soup and a bowl of herbal hardboiled egg and beancurd puffs. I would say for the price we paid, it was worth it. The yam rice was so so good, full of yam cubes and dried prawn taste. Just to our likings.

Our son initially said he was not hungry. The power of yam rice — one mouthful and suddenly he said he was very hungry!

Yam rice with pork innards and pork meat soup
This huge portion of soup with pork innards and pork meat was very delicious too. The soup was sourish salty full of umami pickled vegetables-based. It was also huge portion, with slices of pork belly, slices of lean meat, liver, stomach and intestines. We had opted out the blood cubes because we don't eat blood. This set also came with yam rice as well as the herbal egg and beancurd puffs.

Husband couldn't resist some dessert. So he ordered a warm barley beancurd gingko. Yummy!

We also packed one stew pork yam rice set for our eldest son who loves was at evening session school.
It was such a satisfying early dinner. Before leaving the Food Court, we stopped at another stall to get siew bao, coconut tart and apple tart. Bought some Siew bao for parents too. Siew bao are baked puff buns with barbequed pork as fillings
