Cheering for My Mom’s First Emcee Experience

Hello there my lovely hivers!!!!  When I came to my mom's room, one of the teachers in elementary visited my mom's room with good news. My former teacher in grade 5 suggested that my mom would be the one who would emcee on the event BUWAN NG WIKA. I can sense that my mom feels really happy knowing she chose to be the emcee of the said event. On the other hand she also wanted to refuse the offer since she thinks that the audience would judge for how she speaks but my brother and I keep saying that you can do it and it's a great chance to have the best memory here in school. It's also the last week of my mother's substitution teacher. She said yes to the offer and was really excited the whole time but there were times she kept questioning herself if she could do it. We also keep lifting her up saying how we'll know if you will not try.  This is the day of the event, and it's friday my sister and I don't have class so we deicded to support my mom at school. The event started at 9:00 am so I did my make around 9 and got dressed. My sibling was already dressed and they wore something green and they even told me you should wear something green so we would match. Then I looked for some green clothes and I just found this satin skirt of mine and I just paired this off shoulder. It looks elegant and it's perfect for the formal event or just going out to the coffee shop and taking a lot of pictures . We arrived at the school at 9:40 am and the event just started and my mom didn't know that we were already here watching her from afar. My brother has an event in their school but she chose to be here. We were in the complex and by walking around we saw our cousin.  This event is exclusively for the elementary students. The gym was not that crowded and I think this was just a 1/4 students of elementary.  I had a boy cousin's and when he saw me he looked excited and asked me for some money to buy some snacks for him hahahaha. We took pictures first and then my one cousin went with his friend. But this one cousin of ours, just stayed with us until the event ended. My sister doesn't want crowded places and she just stays in my mom's room.  My father called asking how's my mom if she's okay and we just updated my father that my mother was doing fine and she looked happy while in front of the crowd.  I told my brother to take a picture of me, and he didn't get mad. He takes a lot of photos, and then he asked me if I could also take a picture of him.  When my brother and I found a good spot on the campus, I saw one of our cousins and we just knew each other this year. She's one of the candidates for the event and I didn't clearly see her, I asked what hero she portrays and she said Melchora Aquino and she looks pretty in her dress, my brother suggested we should take a picture together. One qualities that I was amazed of, was she was really smart she even shared about me when the time she competed in the municipality and won 3rd place and she was consistent with honors.  When this group of students performed a filipino folk dance, I was really amazed and that made me go to the front and watch them perform. I was reminded of their song of the perfomace of the 2nd year students on our school they also perfrom this kind of folk dance the song title was "Dang dang ay".  The kindergarten students also perform a sign language, even they were too young they perform it well with the help of the kibdergarten teachers. My mom was on their front so they could remember it.
