Happy Chooseday to one and all 🎉 remember to choose happy always.. and every day. Tonight I'm bothered by the drilling that started around eight in the evening. They finished around midnight last night. I wonder if it would be the same for today.

That's the proof 😖 I swear this causes a lot of inconvenience. I do wonder how many more nights do I have to put up with this noise?! 😣 Well, since it's Chooseday, I will choose to try and block this noise from my conscious mind. I'm working on pushing it to nothing but an irritating background noise as I go about my nightly routines and working on this post. 🙄
My dinner last night was chef's salad. This is way better than the potato salad from last week. 😆 At least this one had lots of meat and is more packed so it was enough for my dinner. I did have half of leftover french fries from last night. I reheated that on the air fryer and enjoyed munching on the side. 😁
In a few hours, I will be saying good-bye September. Whew! I'm glad I survived another month. A new month brings new challenges once again. It's like living life on a loop. I'm amazed at the passing of time as it seems to move quicker as I age more. 😆 I would admit that I have little time to reflect these days. Mostly it's 'coz I do not enjoy looking back a lot since so many things have changed. For one, I've come to realize that there are lots of activities that I could no longer enjoy esp. with my mobility issue. If I hang on to those things, I would only be frustrated. Living alone (and with kitties and guinea pigs to care for) makes me choose to focus on the here and now. I have to accept that it's a new stage in life, and I need to get used to it. I do allow myself to get nostalgic and reminisce on the good ole days of travel and adventures. For that I've decided to post those memories on Blurt. 😉 Here, I focus on the present moment as I learn to adjust and adapt to my new condition. I'd say it's a story that's still being written. I will simply wait and see what each new day brings. 🙏❤️💡

Learning is a lifelong process. Even at this stage in my life, I'm still learning a lot esp. in running the household and facing each day. The best part is whatever we learn becomes a part of us. This is the only way we get to grow and become better versions of ourselves. This is indeed one treasure that could never be stolen from us. 😉 Some even say that our soul remembers all that we learn in our lifetimes. If that's the case, then it's worth learning as much as can in life. 😉
Last day in September. Thank you and good-bye. See you again next year. 😆 Guess it's time to welcome the last quarter of 2025. Are you ready? Aside from Halloween (Day of the Dead for us instead -- Undas), I can see lots of folks are excited for the Christmas holidays. 😛 Count me out though as I find that season a bit too stressful. 😆
