Friday was a tiring but learning-filled day at the College, where I spent 12 hours attending five classes. I started at 7:00 a.m. with Gynecology, which was originally supposed to be one hour long, but due to the absence of the professor, we had an unexpected one-hour break. This break was just what I needed to recover a bit. Then, we continued with Medicine 1, a class that turned out to be calm, although my tiredness and hunger were beginning to appear, making the funny moments a temporary relief. After a lunch that we spent two hours on, I ran a quick errand and returned for Pediatrics class, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Finally, we closed the day with another session of Medicine 1, concluding at 5:30 p.m. It was certainly an intense day. Spending more than 12 hours away from home is not easy, but the company of my classmates made it more bearable. Although it is a challenge, I am sure that it will strengthen us to face what is coming in this race.
