Hello everyone. How are you all today? Wow, it's been almost a week that I have not posted in here. What did you do today? About me, I went to the center of the city to pay our bills of Pag-ibig which is a housing loan and our electricity.
First, I went to the Pag-ibig main office, but their system there's a new Pag-ibig rule. This rule means that anyone who pay the housing loan in their office should be the owner of the Pag-ibig account. If not, the payor should bring a letter of authorisation and valid government id. The Pag-ibig used in our house is my mother's complete name, so I need to come back at home if mother isn't replying. But I have another options which is to pay it on Cebuanna Lhuillier, Western Union, SM and mlhuillier so that there's no need for authorisation letter. In the picture is an inside view of Western Union. I was happy because I didn't need to go to the SM when the teller said that they're also a payment channel of such housing loan.
Western Union isn't crowded these days. When I came in, I was entertained immediately because we were only two. The employees were so relaxed and that they have time to chitchat. Unlike before, I had a few worse experiences. There was always had a long queue. Nowadays, everything is easy and fast. We can pay our bills online as long as we have digital bank accounts. There are many payment channels not just the bank. Here in the Philippines, we can pay through Gcash, Maya, Bill Ease, Skyro and Coinsph.
After I paid the housing loan, I went to one of the cheapest grocery stores in town that is namely Goodyear. My budget was only 1,000 pesos for powdered and body soaps, shampoo, coffee, biscuits, all-purpose flour, yeast and baking powder. It's hard to earn money these days and it's easy to spend, right? It's easy to spend but is hard to budget especially when we're in a grocery store or at the mall that we can be tempted by unnecessary stuff.
I was queuing in this cashier because I thought it's just a short wait when is my turn to pay. The man bought a lot of grocery items on his two baskets. When it's time for me to pay the at the cashier, I'll always look at the customers cart before me whether it's full or not. If it's loaded and big, I'll proceed to another counter with small baskets. But in this time, I didn't have a choice because all of the cashiers were full of customers.
As I waited for my turn to pay, a woman asked me which line I belonged. I was also confused because the customers before me in the line, they didn't know which queue should we follow. Later, I reviewed my basket so that I could know what are the things I missed. Then I realized that I forgot a margarine and a body soap. So I pleased the woman to look at my basket. She didn't answer and just looked at me.
When I went back, I was upset that my basket was moved to the right line and the woman continued to the left line, a line where I was originally come from and she replaced my place. I wanted to be mad and talk to her, but I was also thinking that it's not a big deal. The other side of my mind whispered that I should be disappointed at her because she didn't have a good manner. But I did nothing in the end. Maybe if it happened to other people, they would react a way that can humiliate that woman, but I was also thinking that if I'd do that, I'll be like her too with a bad mannerism who seems like she grew up in the wet market.
So, my basket was put on last. It was okay. The woman was also peeking up on me if I was done na. She might be disturbed to see me finished paying in a new cashier because she cheated.
How about you? How would you react if someone is cheating on your queue? Anyway, goodnight everyone. I am Just sharing my experience so that, I would know if what I did was right or wrong.
