Good evening everyone. How are you today? About me, it was a happy day again because my little sister and I were at the grocery store. Being at the grocery is my most favourite home chore. How about you, what is your most favourite task at home?

It was super sunny day today when we walked going to the nearby ATM. The ATM was inside the convenience store 7/11. We used an umbrella to protect ourselves from an excessive heat around 32 degrees Celsius. Tomorrow, according to the weather forecast, it will feel like 40 degrees Celsius. This severe heat is until June 3 here in my place, Butuan. It was 12 noon when we walked at the pavement, yet my little sister was thirsty and I was hungry. So we bought a siopao for 45 pesos, a lemon juice for 25 pesos and my little sister's favourite icecream. 1000004030.jpg We rode in a tricycle going to the Gaisano mall to buy household necessities. My litte sister picked up junk foods for the rats. Mother has rat traps. She put foods inside and when they get in, they'll die. In the list, mother put in 4 kilos of chicken. It has been expensive to buy chicken, so I only bought a few. I took a kilo of the chicken backbone because I remember that it's good for a recipe like Halang-Halang. Halang means spicy. I also bought chicken wings, legs and thighs. My little sister took a breading mix as she was excited to cook fried chicken. 1000004032.jpg Inside the grocery store, there was the mother's day booth with a bouquet of chocolates. In the Philippines, if not a bouquet of money are chocolates and other practical items. It's a trending type of bouquet here that has become our culture. A money bouquet, liniment, chocolates and shampoo is a very practical surprise for our loved ones. I wish I could recieve a bouquet of chocolates. I expected it last year as it was the 1st year I've become a mother. But my baby's father was never sweet to me since we bear a child. 1000004031.jpg Before we paid the cashier, we added a few vegetables to our cart. I was very surprised to see the costs per kilogram of the broccoli, cabbages, squash, pepper, kangkong, eggplant, garlic and onion. Their prices last month were just okay, but today, it's not good. When we live in Butuan, the best thing that we can do if we are out of budget but we want to buy a lot of veggies is to choose at the wet market instead of the mall. 1000004033.jpg Time to go Home!

I almost forgot to buy my baby's milk. The prices remains the same, unlike the vegetables and meat. I also bought a cereal like a Cerelac in banana flavor. This is her favourite as a picky eater. She doesn't like to eat rice and healthy snack. Speaking of healthy snack, my little sister was very happy when she saw street foods at the sidewalk nearby the exit sliding door. It looks unhealthy, but I was forced to eat, 'till I found out that the sauces are yummy too. Anyway, that's up to now. I am super sleepy na. Timeto sleep. Goodnight.z
