Hello everyone. Today is my nephew's 10th birthday. Seems like it was just yesterday when he was born. He looked so adorable and cute. I can still remember his voice when he was a toddler. I can still remember how stubborn he was.
So it was planned that we will celebrate the birthday at the Cabadbaran beach. Cabadbaran is the neighboring town of Butuan city with many beaches. They have their islands with white sands too, but remained unexplored and undeveloped maybe because they're faraway. And the beach that we came had only a gray sand because the white beaches are far away. There are two ways to visit the place. First, through a land travel. Second, through a water travel as this town has an island connected to my place Butuan.
We paid the cottage for 500 pesos (10$). We brought lechon, suman, Kinilaw,rice, Coke, puto cheese and grilled fish. We also brought the speaker because my mother loves to sing in a karaoke videos.She is not a singer but singing is her hobby. We Filipinos are very fanatic of singing.
When we arrived at the resort, my baby and my niece went to the sands immediately with their toys. We arrived there at 7 am that's why the breeze was so windy. Unfortunately, the tide was high that I couldn't bring Pointy in some parts of the water. The water isn't blue or green but the waves are strong. My baby loved to be held by my big brother just to be in the water, but I didn't want it either.
It was fun to watch them enjoying the toys for the beach. They molded the sands that hopefully turn into a castle. Pointy wished to go swim. The last time that we had a sea vibe was last year. It was opposite in this day because it was lowtide before.The kids couldn't enjoy more.
The birthday boy in brown tee is my nephew and the boy on left side is his friend. Even if the tide is high, he was very happy. He didn't leave the water throughout the day. I still remember when he was a baby and being carried by my brother because he didn't know how to swim. He was pure innocent, joyful but fearful too when my brother taught him how to swim. He was very dependent who would always call mama and papa when it seems that everything wasn't right on his fledgling mind. But these days, his parents would miss those times of his dependence. He doesn't rely anymore on them but with friends.
