Hello everyone. It's been two weeks I've not here. How are you all today? About me, I was very happy because we went to the mall today to have some groceries.
Going to the grocery is my stress therapy and I am happier when I'm with my mother and my child. My daughter loves to go to the mall too because she loves exploring strangers, places and the flamboyant displays especially toys. My wish is to be financially free so that I can buy anything for my daughter. Even if I enjoy going out with her, I become anxious if she has a tantrum. I still don't know how to handle it in the middle of the crowd. My patience is really tested now that I'm a mother and I admit that I cannot control it sometimes.
My baby immediately asked me if I could take her a picture before we go to the grocery part of the mall. I was skeptical to take a picture because of what the backdrop is written that is personally not true. Then I remember that many single moms are calling themselves a daddy too because they can do what men can also do to their child. They can be both mom and dad and I admit that I'm both. While I took her a picture, I was really heartbroken because my daughter didn't know the meaning of what was written there.
After the grocery, we left the baggages at the baggage counter and went to the mall's third floor to eat for our lunch. We liked the fastfood that displayed Filipino foods but their main course is Lechon for only 150 pesos per serving. It's a set of 150 pesos of lechon with free two dishes. It doesn't include rice. They have desserts such as Spaghetti, Maja Blanca, fruit salad and macaroni salad.
This is the set of lechon with free chopsuey. Then we ordered rice for 15 pesos per serving and regular tea for 11 pesos. Chopsuey is the best pair of lechon as it is a healthy dish composed of cauliflower, sayote, carrots, beans and garlic. Lechon is the best food in the Philippines but in this fastfood, they amazingly sell it in a cheaper price. The skin was crunchy, the meat was flavorful.
Aside from the free chopsuey, it has also a free dish of intestine. The dish may sound disturbing the way I say it, but all of us in the family, this is our most favourite. The aroma is so good and tempting that we can eat a lot of rice. This dish is very special here in Butuan because the pig's intestine cannot be seen in the markets and meat shopping around 5am and after.
