It’s funny how boredom can birth creativity. Boredom can spur you to be hardworking and productive. It’s the drive we never see coming.
You might not feel like doing anything but when boredom hits you, you just can’t believe just how many things you can do. It sort of brings out the creative juice in you, you don’t realize the boredom effect working until you are done with whatever you’re doing. This was the story of my life today.
I don’t know how I ended up watching Arsenal's match today but I did and against my will. Watching full-grown men shouting non-stop without understanding what was happening. I was forced to entertain myself somehow and that was how this drawing was born.
I haven’t drawn in a while but I’m glad this turned out nicely. The drawing was impromptu so I had to use a random piece of paper for it.
To make this beautiful drawing, I used the following materials and I followed the steps below.
**Materials**
Paper
Pencil
Eraser
**Procedure**
**Step 1:**
I began by sketching the head of the cat and its paw. I paid close attention to the size of its head as I didn’t want the head to be too big.

**Step 2:**
I proceeded to complete the cat’s paw.
**Step 3:**
Satisfied with the size of the head, I proceeded to draw the nose and part of the mouth.
**Step 4:**
I drew the whiskers and the tongue of the cat making sure every part was in the right proportion.
**Step 5:**
I drew the ears and eyes and at this point, my drawing was beginning to come alive.

**Step 6:**
I gave my drawing some finishing touches as I shaded the ears, nose, and eyes, Viola! My drawing was completed!
I finished this drawing in no time to my amazement and I was happy. Not only did I save myself from boredom I created something beautiful.
