Today, I attended a seminar, and I was flabergasted, to say the very least. Honestly, there are so many wealthy people in this world, and most of these people were not born into wealth; they had to build it from scratch.
Being in the same room as these people changed my perception of life and wealth. Being wealthy or being the person you’ve always dreamed of is not far-fetched or a mirage; it is attainable.

Listening to these great men and women share their success stories was truly inspiring. The constant pattern in their stories was how most of them didn’t become great immediately. Their lives didn’t follow the usual cycle of high school, college, marriage, and success as we are usually made to believe is the correct order of life.
Most of them made it in their late 30s and 40s and some even 50s and they are all living their best lives and highly compensated for all the troubles they had to go through before they got to where they are.
These unique stories of theirs further confirmed my mantra of life: “We are all working in different time zones.”
I keep asking myself these questions; Who made 30 years the deadline for being successful or having one’s life put together? Who made 40 the deadline for dreaming? Who? Society!!

Society has gradually made us normalize the 30s and 40s as the set standard for being successful. Ranging from judgy aunties/uncles to demanding nieces and nephews who are constantly on our necks to silent entitlement in our parents' eyes even if they fail to admit it to us out of love. Not forgetting the incoming responsibilities of having a partner and growing a family of your own. It becomes overwhelming sometimes.
All of these components and more make our 20s seem like a sprint. We spend most time worrying about the GREAT deadline of life, growing older becomes scarier as we are reminded that we may or may not conform to the great deadline set by the society we live in.

It’s okay not to have it all figured out, it’s okay to run late and it's very much okay to run at your own pace. You are not in competition with anyone, nor does society have the right to make demands of you.
You are doing just fine and if it gets crazier along the line, pause, take a deep breath, and remind yourself how far you’ve come and continue as you’ll definitely get there someday.
There you have it guys, a little motivation for Y’all😃
