The Waiting Period…

The waiting period? What exactly is the waiting period? The Waiting Period simply put can be a time in your life when you are waiting for something to happen. In this period you feel stuck in one place, it feels like nothing is working, and you sometimes do not know the next step to take. You could be waiting for anything, be it a job, admission, marriage, kids, breakthrough, next idea, or even to be healthy again. A lot of people experience the waiting period. Some wait longer than others.  The waiting period will test your patience, it will throw you off balance, and can make you question your capabilities. It can even throw you into depression if you are not careful. The waiting period is not for the faint-hearted as only the strong can make it out in one piece. While waiting, a lot of options would come in disguise as the real deal but being able to discern which is your answer or which will launch you to the next level will save you from a lot of trouble. Some of us are currently in our waiting period, waiting patiently for that one thing we’ve always prayed or wished for. Some of us are losing our minds already, crying in secret, and losing our sense of humor and happiness. We are hoping and praying for a miracle, we don’t know how long we can persevere but we are still pushing regardless. It’s not so easy to always be strong and hopeful nor easy to throw away all your dreams and settle for less or the available but we just have to trust the process. To everyone in their waiting period, I just want you to know that the wait is going to be over, if not now but eventually. You’ve come too far to just give up.
