Pokemon Company has announced the latest series of games, Pokemon Quest. This game is present on the Nintendo Switch platform, and has been released commercially.
This game is a spin-off and has a blocky art style look with top-down screen sets, as well as real-time action-RPG genre that will invite gamers to face the "wild" Pokemon in an exciting adventure.
Pokemon Quest has a set at a place called Tumblecube Island in which there are various kinds of first generation Pokemon. Gamers will be adventuring while collecting Pokemon. The concept to get it is like a Pokemon Go game that got viral a few years ago, but gamers do not have to drive around to each area to get a Pokemon, just in the console.
In addition, this game will make gamers can decorate and change the headquarters area where gamers take shelter, unlike the Secret Bases in Ruby and Sapphire series.
This latest Pokemon game was developed by Game Freak. After its launch on the Nintendo Switch platform, Pokemon Quest will launch for the mobile version at the end of June.
This announcement comes along with other Pokemon game news, including info on new RPG games for Switch Pokemon's Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee. The game is rumored to be released in November.
The Pokemon Company itself confirmed that the main RPG game of the Pokemon series, announced during a presentation on Nintendo E3 2017, will be separated from the Let's Go game and planned to be available by 2019.
