Hello lovely hivers, it's me @iciah again. How is everyone doing recently?I hope everyone is doing well.Today,I'll be sharing to you guys about how I sharpened my mind to the new chess app that was being introduced to me by my sister. So,come on,let's get started.

Chess is the only sports that I can say I am literate to do so.I started this sport during my elementary days which was being introduced to me by my grade 3 teacher who become my elementary chess coach.

This hobby of mine has helped me accept defeat in every game and also challenging myself to do more.Chess has become my passion and an escape everytime I want my me time.

Before,I was just playing with my siblings at home with my chess board and enjoying every game despite the fact that we tease each others because that was our bonding every night after school. My younger brother who has a big ego until now, didn't want to loose every match he had with me,so every time he loss he will definitely want a rematch.

I enjoyed those bonding not until I discovered the chess offline app.It was nice to play im the phone and enjoying every ranked of the game. This app was just all about playing with the computer I guess. You just developed your own strategies and plans. The good thing is that you will no longer needed a data in order to play the app since it is an offline game.

I settled for a months to that app and I enjoyed every game that I have.Until I already finished all the ranks and it become boring and started to discover new app about chess and it was already an online game.

It was fun and I can play with different players all over the world with different rankings.A lot of players with different strategies every match and we are able to communicate with each other during the match.

At first,I was enjoying it not until I was being matched with a toxic player one time.He keeps on chatting bad words and it's kinda bothering me while playing.I tried to focus but yet he still managed to distract me with his words and he won the match.

After that game,I decided to switch my gaming app.The app where I could learn something and build strategies in every game without being judged.

I asked my sister if she had something in mind and then she recommended me this app.It was cool by the way because it has a lot of tutorial. For beginners and for the advanced player.
I started from the start even though I know already the functions of each pieces because I really wanted to understand each functions during the match.

First are the two fundamentals which are for the openings.I really wanted to know what are the proper openings every game because it will definitely affect your entire game.Dr.Wolf,the coach of the game had though me everything that I wanted to know and understand why openings are important to study before anything else.
At first I thought doing basic openings or just simply open your board and it doesn't really matter, but as I study more about the game,it made me realized how important and how it will help you win your game.

After studying all the openings,I proceed on how to properly positioned my Queen for safe and nice catch without doing blunders.Doing blunders always missed up my board plan because of not eyeing everything and just focusing on the other side of the board.Queen was the second most important piece for me because this piece can do anything aside from copying the knights move.

Doing checkmates by using my Queen was my basic move of ending my game and it always take time to counter because the opponent will surely make an eye in that very special piece of yours and one single mistake will surely lead into losing.
Dr.Wolf thought me every single details about the proper positioning of my Queen without doing any blunders. It was a good decision to study from the basic because basics are the ones that I thought that was easy to do.
Doing check mates by using a Queen wasn't so hard to handle and position,so I proceed into mastering the Rook and it's finest moves in the board since this piece always missed the opportunity of being out because it was always at the edge of the board, and sometimes it was being captured without me noticing it.

Doing captures and check mates with two Rook was not a hard work to do,but doing it with a single Rook together with the King was a hard strategies to build.I managed to put in mind that if I had a desired to win,I have to wait for the perfect time.
It takes a lot of time before I catch up with how to play with my Rooks and thankfully I managed to put all the coaching in my head.

I am still in the middle of my journey and still in progress. It may take time to finish it but I know it will fruit and bloom.Playing my mind in the board and making my brain ache about the plans and strategies to build up always satisfied my whole system and I love the pain that it gives in me.
Chess is a mind game with unending progress, because each day is another lesson to adopt and managed.

I am still growing and adopting into this addiction of mine.Hopefully soon I'll be able to play it together again with my siblings just like how I started it.
That will be all lovely hivers,Thankyou for always supporting this busy kiddo and always reading with me.See you in my next blog, wonderful people.Have a great day!
