Friday:Workday

Hello lovely hivers,it's me iciah.How was everyone?I hope everyone was doing good.For today's blog,I'll be sharing with you guys my Friday work.Its a wok update.  Today,I was assigned to open the spa since I always arrived early every day.I was a little bit nervous because it was my first time and my colleagues told me that it was hard to open the glass door because it was old and needed to be replaced.But thankfully I was able to do it in just one try.  Since I was the key holder for today because the receptionist think I was an early bird.As usual I am so early,I arrived 8:50 and our late was 9:36,an early bird.I really love to go to work as early as I can so that I could finished my task early also. Since there was a new task for today's shift,I decided to check it.I was being assigned in the receptionist area and to the glass door.  I proceed on sweeping the floor,it has a lot of dust because there was a construction of the tiles last night,so as expected,the place was so dusty.  After sweeping all the trash,I decided to proceed on cleaning the glass.Since the receptionist area was a hallway,it will be dirty again if my colleagues will arrived,so it's better to clean it after all of my colleagues arrived. I used alcohol and a pillow case to clean the glass.I needed a chair so that i could reach the upper part of the glass since I was being gifted by a cute height. After the wipings,my colleagues arrived.I told them to remove their footwears so that it will be easier for me to clean it again.And thankfully they understand it.  I proceed on cleaning again the floor and after that I mapped it.For a nice smell,I decided to put some pepper mint together with the alcohol for cooling effect.I map it 2 times to make sure it was already clean.  Since one of my colleague was absent and she was assigned to the body area,I decided to help with her task since I was already done with mine.The body area was a tiring task to do.You have to change the beddings,pillows and the towels ofcourse.Then proceeds on cleaning the floor. I was in the mood to style the towels so I decided to style it creatively.I love the red towels.I created cute flowers to each bed even though I know the client will not appreciate it.  After the body area,we proceed on cleaning the foot area.It the space where we do the foot massage,we only have a limited chair,so it was easy to clean.We created cute designs also.So far so good,I mean I was so satisfied with our work because it turns out pretty and cute.  As I finished the task,I changed into my spa uniform and ready to take a rest.One of my friends ask me if I want something since she was going to the supermarket. I was craving fruits lately so I decided to tell her that I want a fruit.She suggested that there was a mixed of fruit in the supermarket and it was not so expensive,so I decided to buy it.  She was right,it has a lot of mixed fruits.I eat the fruit right away because it really look so delicious and my mouth was watering.I shared it to my friend and we eat it together. I was full and ready to take a nap.That was my routine every time I am at work.If there was no client,I spend my time eating or just taking a nap just to ease the tiredness I may feel during busy hours. Working in this kind of job really suits for a working students because it was a commission based.You can rest everytime if it is not your turn to handle and there was a big chance to receive a tip in every costumers that you may handle.  During the evening,it rain so hard and we already know that there will be no client to enter the spa.I decided to take a nap and wait for the time so that i could go home.It was raining so hard and I already know that outside was already flooding.Like hello, Mandaue City,what would I expect everytime it rains.  As we leave from work,the rain was still heavy and I decided to take a jeepney just to be safe and to arrived at home early.It was a hassle for me.It was raining and I've been stock outside waiting for the jeepney to arrived.  There are a lot stock people because of the haivy rains,and no one dares to walk under the heavy rain.Everyone was waiting patiently for the other jeepneys to arrived.Thankfully there was a jeep that arrived right in front of me and everyone was rushing just to ride with it. I immediately sit and put down my umbrella.Everyone was soaking wet and no one cares,because what we care more about was to get home safe and to rest. My mom called me,asking about my situation since it was raining so hard.I told her that I was in the middle of riding a jeep and I cannot answer her calls.Upon arriving,she told me that there's a possibility that I cannot cross the street from the road through our home because it was flooding.  I thought I can make it,but I was wrong.The water was so huge that makes me think that if I will try to cross it,I may drowned.I decided to call my mom and ask if my father could help me. Thankfully my father was to the rescue,he told me that he need to lift me.He lift me in his back so that I could not touch the flood water.I was shocked that the water was really huge. I was so thankful to my dad because without him,I may possibly face that huge flood. There are a lot of kids whose enjoying the flood.They are diving into it.Like yuck,the water look likes a mud already,but anyway they are kids,I cannot blame them. Our room was in second floor,so it was not a hassle for us during flood because the water will not climb,just kidding.Anyway,after those disaster that I faced in just a day.I still managed to faced it.It was a long and busy day and tomorrow was another kick back to incounter.
