**Tuesday, whew!** A random search with the keywords "new songs 2025" led me to playlists filled with songs by various artists. Clicked on this and that, then on an unfamiliar name, and mumbled, "Okay, you're new, let's hear you," and listened intently. ### Alex Warren - Ordinary

Well, I liked him already, so I finished to the end, then checked his channel, 'coz I wanted more. I even searched him on G for [his bio.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Warren). There, I learned he is not as unpopular as I first thought. Started making YouTube videos at 10, cofounded a TikTok collective called the Hyper House, etcetera. He began releasing music in 2021. Accordingly, artists like Justin Bieber, David Kushner, Benson Boon, and Shawn Mendes have inspired him to become a musician too. Well, the song above is one of his new releases this year. It peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 for weeks, also topping charts in various countries. It's currently the second on iTunes Top 10 this week. It's *ordinary,* but a smash hit, huh! Okay, onto the second tune, a folk-pop. It's a collab with Blackpink star, a K-pop icon, who, if I remember correctly, has been featured in one of my TTT editions for her Apt with Bruno Mars. ### Alex Warren & ROSÉ - On My Mind

A good duet, each of the artists has their unique vocals, but they blend so well. Rose's equally charming voice is quite refreshing. The single was released less than two months ago (June 27), as the third track on Warren's debut studio album, You'll Be Alright Kid. It currently has 14 million views on YouTube. And to the third tune, also from this year, is a collaboration with a Country music artist. I have to say, when I watched the music video, I thought it was used as a soundtrack to a medieval movie or something, lol! ### Alex Warren & Jelly Roll - Bloodline

Delivered with pop and country influences, the song reached the Top 10 in Ireland, New Zealand, and the UK.
