Lovely Saturday, plenty of sunshine, even at late afternoon (half past 5 pm as I write this). We arrived home about an hour ago after an impromptu run to the other town this morning. The inflammation on the little guy's buttocks ruptured, prompting another vet visit. "Don't worry too much, it's a boil," the amiable vet said, smiling as she examined it. "Are you serious? Even dogs can have boils?" I inquired in wonder. "Yes, even pigs, haha!" she laughed. "I didn't know. I was worried it was something serious. He didn't sleep last night, whimpering, bumping his head on the walls, crawling between pillows, and such. We didn't know what to do." I was too honest, lol! "It must have been painful and probably itchy at the same time," she explained. "It's good that it erupted on its own, and we just have to help drain the pus," she added. Yongi seemed to have understood what she said, and he became agitated, starting to growl and wanting to escape. We were advised to apply some natural remedies to help ease the swelling, and we were also given pills. The doctor also recommended letting the little guy play outside, as it might help with his quicker healing (in contrast to my notion that I should keep him indoors to avoid any risk of further infections, lol!) Anyway, a suppository was inserted into the little guy's anus to induce him to defecate, which he did after some ten minutes. He looked relieved afterward. So we paid the bills, thanked the good doctor, and headed to our next errand. Then we drove to my father-in-law's place right after we bought takeaways for lunch. I didn't want to go anywhere else because I felt like a zombie for not having enough sleep, lol! He's happy to be out in the sunshine! He doesn't look sick at all!

He enjoyed running on the grassy roadside, marking this or that, panting now and then, yet refusing to stop. But then, it was time to head home. We crossed the town's border after a few stops. The hubby teased about ice cream, so why not? It's a nice treat on such a lovely afternoon. We pulled over to enjoy them, or they melt. Choco-vanilla for me, Ube cheesecake for him (not photographed).

Yum! Yum! Yum! Cravings satisfied, tummies were happy as we traversed the narrow road home. We are grateful and hopeful for a restful weekend!
