Going for the Small House

**Magandang buhay!** Sometime ago, we visited a cousin at their three-floor house, and during our conversation, she mentioned getting exhausted just by climbing the stairs every time they go to their bedroom (on the top floor). "I'm still in my 40s and I'm complaining already, so how much more in the next 5 years, or when I'm a lot older and my legs grow weaker," she shared, laughing. "I think a one-floor house or a bungalow is still the best, because when you are old, you wouldn't worry about stairs," she continued. I readily agreed with what she said because it made sense, and also because I always wanted a small, cozy house. In fact, way back in 2010, the hubby and I created a dream book, and on one of its pages, we pasted a cutout of a bungalow house, which we wanted to work toward. When we had our first home built, we made sure it was the size we wanted. While it didn't match every detail stated in our dream book, it was a little close, only a lot smaller, but I still like it. It's easy to maintain, and it is not too spacious to tire me out when cleaning, lol! Well, it's just funny that I started writing this post thinking about sharing my thoughts on one of the topics on this week's [LOH prompt](https://ecency.com/hive-124452/@ladiesofhive/ladies-of-hive-community-contest-255), (re: A big, low-cost house, but it needs a lot of repairing, or a small pricier house, but everything's ready for you to move in) but I ended up with this. My mind was messed up, and I blame the hubby for distracting me, haha! He's in the city, and he called a little while ago, asking if we (Yongi and I) were already sleeping. But yeah, I'd still pick the small house, even if it means paying a bit more for it, simply because I love cozy lil homes. Anyway, I was offline most of the day for a wee digital detox. I took advantage of the Farmboy's absence and continued where he left off with the DIY thingy in the kitchen. I enjoyed it a lot and lost track of time until the LilGuy whined because he was hungry. What a neglectful fur mama!😅
