**Magandang buhay!**
Saturday, the first of the new month. All Saints' Day in the country. And before we left the house for Dad's and got busy, I took care of my staking at the first hour of the day (UTC time). Small amount, but it moved the numbers up.

With that, my HPUD was done. I wouldn't wish it to miss it for the world (kidding). So now, my staked HIVE is 29,386 HP, getting closer and closer to where I want it to be.
I was about to trade my liquid HBD to HIVE, but changed my mind and instead sent them to the Savings vault, bringing my staked HBD to 2,231 (an increase of 9 from last week). Also small, but at least the numbers changed. Like we often say, they all add up.
Meanwhile, my Sats balance stayed the same, although I'm keen to add a little more soon, since it's for the long term unless things change abruptly, but I hope not.
Anyway, we are spending the whole weekend at the other place, and I am determined to have a bit of a digital detox while there. So I'll be limiting my online time (drafting this while we are in DD and will schedule its posting).
The truth is that this day has always been important to Mom. It was rare on November 1st that we didn't come together as a family. Instead of doing it on the second day of the month (All Souls' Day), she would do it on the 1st. She visits the graves of loved ones to light candles and say a little prayer. When she got sick, she asked me to do it for her, which I did for the last 4 years.

Like on the previous occasions, not everyone will be present today or even tomorrow, but it's okay. That doesn't mean some are forgetting. It's just that sometimes, life has a way of playing with our plans. We'll all be together in spirit, as my sister said.
So yeah, **Hello November!**
