**Magandang buhay!**
I was cleaning my files when I found some interesting shadow photographs from last month's trip, so it's time to share them. Whenever we are on the road, I often take random pictures, and here are some of the thousands taken during a trip to Cagayan.

While they are not that sharp, I love how the tree shadows occupied the streets like grayscale doodles or something.

I wasn't aiming at the shadows on these captures, to be honest, but it was the stretchy road ahead of us. It always makes me feel *expectant* and excited.
But I think the shadows are pretty cool, so I had to include them.

Different trees at random spots along the streets. Some shadows of the palm branches, too!

These were taken when we pulled over on the roadside after we noticed a checkpoint ahead. The hubby decided to ask the truck's driver why most of them have stopped there.
While he was on to it, I was also capturing these. I love how the side railings appeared in the shadows.

I was trying to get a closer shot when some vehicles came into view.

And here are some more random shots while we traversed the stretchy roads of the Viscayas.

I'm sure there are plenty more from that day, but let me put a stop here, or we'd be in trouble for dumping plenty, lol!
Anyway, it's been a pretty quiet midweek for us in DD. Drizzly in the morning, but thankfully, the sky cleared up around midday, and Mister Sun showed up late in the afternoon. It came with a bit of a strong breeze. As expected, we kept ourselves indoors.
I didn't read or listen to the weather bureau, but I assumed Typhoon Tino had already left the country after ravaging most places, especially the Visayas and Mindanao. Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced from their homes, and the death toll is rising.
Nature's wrath is scary, and its impact is heartbreaking.🥲 I can only hope and pray there will be no more such disasters.🙏
