Busy day. It's harvesting season for the boys, and I volunteered to look after the meals (breakfast, midmorning snacks, and lunch). Oh dear, it was tiring, but at the same time, satisfying to see that everyone was fed well. Then there were the dishes and pots to clean and tables to tidy up. It's during these occasions that my desire to have a dishwasher intensifies. I'm not giving in to it, though, because the machine would make me lazier, lol.
Well, everything was done around 1 in the afternoon, so I had plenty of time to laze around, play, and even paint the windowsill before sundown. While resting before a bath, we listened to music, encountering various artists, including Annie-Marie, Doechii, and Amanda Koci (known professionally as Ava Max), an American pop singer-songwriter who reminded us of Lady Gaga.
I'm showcasing three of her songs today as my participation in the TTT initiative by Ablaze.
So without stretching further, here they are:
### Ava Max - Kings & Queens

At first glance, my eyes deceived me; I thought I saw Lady Gaga on the screen. I had to pause the music video to see her face a little closer, lol.
The song was released in 2020 as the fifth single on her studio album, Heaven and Hell, which had not yet been released at that time. The track did well, topping the Billboard Adult Top 40 and peaking at No.13 on the Billboard Hot 100. I liked the song's fun and upbeat tempo. It reminds me of "Barbie Girl"
Anyway, according to [Wiki](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ava_Max), the artist rose to fame in 2018, thanks to her breakthrough single, which I am now sharing as the second tune.
### Ava Max - Sweet But Psycho

The music video has over 1 billion views on YouTube. Accordingly, it topped the charts in 22 countries and peaked at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100. Interestingly, the song's title was inspired by the singer's real-life experience, where her parents apparently told her, "You're sweet, but you're a little psycho."
Like the first two songs, the final tune also features a pop sound, an upbeat tempo that is danceable, and a catchy melody. Although I must admit it might not be something I would remember for a long time.
### Ava Max - Who's Laughing Now

Released in July 2020, the song reached the top 10 in 8 countries. The lyrics, according to the artist, are directed to those who bullied her in middle school, which prompted her to be homeschooled.
Anyhow, I'm glad to have come across her today. It had been nice playing these and some of her other songs. Among these 3, I liked the first one the most.
