Tuesday at the Lil Kingdom

Magandang buhay💗 It's midweek already, whew! Days truly go by swiftly when we are *busy.* We went to the Lil Kingdom yesterday. The weather was gorgeous, and allowed me to reconnect with my favorite spot in the yard, which I often missed after we left for DD in July last year. Under the Tisa tree was our best spot to watch the sunset. It was nice to reminisce about those moments, even for a little while (we needed to pack our personal stuff).

I was taking out some trash just before midday when I took all these photos. The Busy Lizzies or Touch-Me-Nots were blooming beautifully (and brightly).

The roses, too, although I only photographed the one amongst the Rosemary plant. It's amazing how they thrive, even without someone looking out and taking care of them. They are self-sufficient and don't require so much attention.

Lunch ensued, then packing continued afterward. The LilGuy spent time in our little corner (it used to be my home office, where he loved to doze off or curl up under the computer table or chair). Below are his throwback pics, which I may have shared in my posts in previous years (the red floor carpet is a common denominator in our little corners in three places, lol!).

This was him yesterday, body stretched on the floor. I tied his leash to the swivel chair so he wouldn't jump around the boxes and things while we packed.

I think he remembers the place, 'coz he felt at home right away. After all, he spent 9 months with us in that house. He later found his old toy and played with it, biting and wiggling it.

Anyway, we finished packing around 3 pm and drove to the other place right after the hubby loaded the smaller things into the car. We arrived at 5:30, and Yongi spent time on the couch, looking tired and sleepy.

Well, that was Tuesday for us. And while we thought of spending another night there, the hubby has accepted a commitment tomorrow morning. So, yep, we are back home in DD.
