Hey.... Everyone, how has your day been, hoping you have been resiliently achieving your targets. It's a lovely day for all of us the living. It's a beautiful thing to be alive and God alone is responsible for keeping all of us alive, we are greetful to him all alone.
O well, rainfall is a blessing, a gift and a magnificent signal that God is totally in control of the universe and everything that happens down here.
It doesn't matter on how many or how much weather focasts that had been made by the matrologist, or what they might have focast, God decides when and how weather focasts go per day and per season. This is very sure!
Here in my country Nigeria, we all know already over the years that June and July are mostly rainy seasons and Months that could turn to a complete downpour by hours or daily , it could last from day to day or even through out a week on some days, none stop. Yet, it's the same June/July that has been scheduled for long vacations school closures or end of the year or end of the term and school parties all over the city, towns, villages and in the states.
Many schools do schedule their school vacation parties at the same day and dates within the week or within the same month like other schools, or like their counterparts. None of them knew there could be damages by heavy downpours on these particular party days. That was the fate of this particular school. Many schools were the same way, affected.
Parents and the pupples has been preparing for a beautiful and heavy school vacation dance party which is also referred to as school graduation day. On this very day, the graduants were quite ready to kick off for the joy and the last get together day for both the out going students, teachers, parents, friends and well wishers that day...
When suddenly a very heavy downpour and such an unimaginable embarrassing downpour just began to waste everything at the very most important moment of the joyful day. It was unbelievable though it was also a day in the rainy season, but nobody expected such a heavy flooded downpour that very day, but it happened.
And what can anyone do about it? This situation was like asking questions.... "What can anyone do to me?, this is a rainy season, after all I'm doing my job? It seems the rain was just saying that to everyone 😂🥺😭.
These seemed like the question from rain that day. Everyone was still having patience, desiring, expecting and declaring by prayers that the rain will go away to come again another day, but lo and behold, the heavy downpour in testified it's ruining and erroneous errands, before you know it, the flood came up, the whole school premises, chairs, high and low tables, canopies and all the decorations and decorative pieces, materials began to soak down with the flood water.
Come and see the embarrassment on every face, teachers, the out going students, parents and everyone else were quite apprehensive, why this rain now was the unanswered questions in everyone's hearts, minds and mouths....
Nobody to answer except if God was willing, he would have said something but we all couldn't hear any answers.
Everyone ran away to some safety grounds, as you can see, some still standing under the canopy, some into class rooms and some still angrily going home under the heavy rain.
That was the ugly fate of this school on their end of the year school party/ school graduation day. The graduants only waited for the prizes they were told they had won, collected them, stood up to eat their graduation rice, cut the cake in a hurry while standing in the rain, and everyone headed home....
It was a mixed feelings graduation/ end of term graduation party like no other.... Embarrassing. But in every disappointment, there are hidden blessings. Only God can say why that day was a negative memorable day to all of us down the line, i mean for life......!
