![Hiveangelist 2.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/W62W48W4-Hiveangelist202.jpg) I was thinking a lot before deciding whether or not to make this post; one of my great motivations was a comment made to me by @enrique89 where he invited me to apply to be a leader of the HIVE community. I didn't understand why he made that comment, because when I compared my work with the work of the great leaders I know who have already created their own post to apply for this initiative of @hiveangelists as they are: @joseacabrerav @enmy or even himself, I feel that maybe my work has not been that great, however, he made me think that I've been able to contribute with some weight to the community. This is an initiative of @threespeak ([3Speak](https://3speak.online/)), @theycallmedan and [State of The Apps](https://www.stateofthedapps.com/) and aims to create a huge network of people to lead the work of promoting and supporting all types of promotional activity for the HIVE Blockchain for adoption in every region of the world. This brings with it a great responsibility, and I feel that despite practically working a little on my own, I can bring great things to the initiative, so... let's get started! ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png)

Who's @ilazramusic?

A pleasure to introduce myself to you, my name is Guillermo Hernández, I'm 25 years old (I'll be 26 in three weeks), I'm a Venezuelan artist in different disciplines (music, dance, literature). I've professional experience in the computer world, I'm an expert in web development (HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript) and have been working as a programmer for 3 years. I'm a passionate lover of teaching so I've been teaching music in an elementary school for 2 years and have been teaching web programming, databases and C# programming for 4 years. Bilingual (Spanish - English), preparing myself to be a polyglot learning French, German and Japanese. I've knowledge about NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), public speaking, psychological tools to achieve effective communication, Social Network Marketing, pedagogical tools, speech analysis tools based on communication psychology and many other topics that make me a useful person to work with crowd. Nature lover, altruist, bohemian and faithful believer that Blockchain technology can bring freedom to people in many ways, and as a living example, I can place my own testimony. ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png)

Why do you want to be an HIVE Community Leader?

Beyond a "title" or "recognition", I want to see HIVE being adopted by a large part of —if not all— Venezuelan society. I live in a country where we have the worst living conditions on almost the entire planet, yet Blockchain technology has served —and continues to serve— as a mean of survival for many people, against all odds. Every opportunity that I've had in my life within the Blockchain, I've used it to bring something, some help, promote some initiative, advertise even if it's word of mouth, but I've never stopped moving and I feel that even though I may not be able to make a contribution that is significant at a very high level, I feel that I can function as a focus of distribution of movements that are created by other leaders of the team with more influence. ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png)

What experience do you have in Blockchain?

I arrived at Steemit in January 2018, I began to study the platform, its processes, its theory and other things that would make easier my path within the platform. I retired in June 2019 from creating content motivated by personal issues and because I was finishing my degree in Computer Science, so I could no longer use my time to continue being part of the platform. During that year, within the Blockchain paradigm, I made several contributions at a personal and group level to the Hispanic community, specifically to my Venezuelan community. I'm going to talk about every single topic I worked on and/or contributed something within the STEEM Blockchain, let's start: ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png) *

Personal Curation

Within the STEEMIT platform, I did a lot of content curation work —even before I knew theoretically what a curator was—, just because I wanted to make a contribution that although didn't significant in terms of financial reward, was significant in terms of marketing and motivation to other authors. Sin título.png I became very well known in the Steemit Open Mic contest, this allowed me to have a lot of contact with many people from the English-Speaking community and made me become a reference and connection between the Hispanic and English communities. I decided to make a review to show 5 talents that according to my judgment, deserved to be seen and supported within the same contest, since I noticed that many people with a lot of level passed almost unnoticed within it, you can read the reviews in the following links: * [Mis candidatos favoritos de la semana 79 | Steemit Open Mic](https://peakd.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/steemit-open-mic-or-mis-candidatos-favoritos-de-habla-hispana-or-semana-79) * [Mis candidatos favoritos de la semana 80 | Steemit Open Mic](https://peakd.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/steemit-open-mic-or-mis-candidatos-favoritos-de-habla-hispana-or-semana-80) * [Mis candidatos favoritos de la semana 81 | Steemit Open Mic](https://peakd.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/steemit-open-mic-or-mis-candidatos-favoritos-de-habla-hispana-or-semana-81) * [Mis candidatos favoritos de la semana 84 | Steemit Open Mic](https://peakd.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/steemit-open-mic-or-mis-candidatos-favoritos-de-habla-hispana-or-semana-84) * [Mis candidatos favoritos de la semana 87 | Steemit Open Mic](https://peakd.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/steemit-open-mic-or-mis-candidatos-favoritos-de-habla-hispana-or-semana-87) * [Mis candidatos favoritos de la semana 88 | Steemit Open Mic](https://peakd.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/steemit-open-mic-or-mis-candidatos-favoritos-de-habla-hispana-or-semana-88) * [Mis candidatos favoritos de la semana 89 | Steemit Open Mic](https://steemit.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/2ryrsw-steemit-open-mic-or-mis-candidatos-favoritos-de-habla-hispana-or-semana-88) * [Mis candidatos favoritos de la semana 91 | Steemit Open Mic]( https://peakd.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/steemit-open-mic-or-mis-candidatos-favoritos-de-habla-hispana-or-semana-91) ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png) Sin título2.png One day, a user called @tarekadam made an initiative in which he were looking for a curator to upvote content specifically from Venezuelan authors; there were many people who applied, the competition was quite tough and was decided through a vote among the community, where I was chosen as the best candidate to do the job of curating content with a delegation of 10,000 Steem Power. You can read the post at the following link ----> [10,000 SP Delegation for curating Venezuelan posts goes to @ilazramusic](https://peakd.com/charity/@tarekadam/10-000-sp-delegation-for-curating-venezuelan-community-goes-to-ilazramusic). Sin título3.png I accepted the mission and dedicated myself to look for content in the platform, but I didn't make this work alone, because since the beginning of the task, I wanted to be like a reference to make the work and I contacted with diverse projects so that they helped me to find authors that deserved a vote, so I worked together with @rutablockchain, @la-colmena and @votovzla. Punctually, I can mention the curators who helped me to carry out this work in the most optimal way: @ylich, @aidarojaswriter, @elfranz, @yrmaleza, @enrique89, @juandvg, @danielvehe, among others. You can read the post at the following link ----> [¡LO LOGRAMOS! ¡Que comience la misión! | Curación a Venezolanos con 10.000 SP | / WE DID IT! Let's start this mission! | Curation work for Venezuelans with 10.000 SP |](https://peakd.com/promo-steem/@ilazramusic/lo-logramos-que-comience-la-misin-curacin-a-venezolanos-con-10000-sp-we-did-it-lets-start-this-mission-curation-work-for-venezuelans-with-10000-sp-) And you can read the final report here: * [Iniciativa "Vene Love" para curar contenido venezolano - Reporte Final [ESP] | The "Vene Love" initiative to curate venezuelan content - Final Report [ENG]](https://peakd.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/iniciativa-vene-love-para-curar-contenido-venezolano-reporte-final-esp-or-the-vene-love-initiative-to-curate-venezuelan-content) Beautifully, we were able to vote 74 posts in just two weeks of work, it was hard work and everyone was rewarded without going below 80% of the voting mana. ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png) *

Content curation within Projects

The world of content curation became more and more interesting to me, so I decided to step forward and start preparing myself in a theoretical way about this world, I wanted to know about the guidelines, the rules and everything that was behind, so I came to the content curation mentoring of @curie, where I met @llfarms (now known as @justineh) and @randomwanderings, who were the best mentors I've ever had in my life, they taught me how to have the vision of curation, how to look up for posts at any time, etc. Unfortunately, I could never become a content curation in @curie, because I couldn't finish the mentoring, however, I could be part of the first strong curation project known as @c-squared, where I worked as a content curation in Spanish, there I met the best team of curators with whom I could work on: @la-colmena, before becoming a separate project endorsed by @curie as a sub-community, the activities were carried out within the server of @c-squared. I met @vadimlasca, @marialefreites, @gabyoraa, @marialefleites, @elfranz, @zoexantelamv, all of them were incredible curators, with a lot of experience and all of them were Curie curators too. I was very blessed to meet this great team in person and to spend almost 5 months of my life curating by their side, was an unforgettable experience. My experience at Steemit led me to meet great leaders of Hispanic communities such as @zaxan with their project @elarca, and following their great vision of supporting artists, I joined their curation team, which carried out their tasks with the @stellae account in conjunction with @juandvg, it was a pretty great job. Because of my great connection with the English-Speaking community, I was part of the @helpie project for a long time, there I met incredible people like @meno, @pechichemena, @paintingangels, @yidneth and I became a curator with the @helpiecake account specifically for Spanish-speaking authors, since they didn't speak Spanish and wanted to support Hispanic authors. You can read one of their reports here with the name of the curators ----> [🍰Would you like to have some CAKE?🍰 ](https://peakd.com/helpie/@helpie/would-you-like-to-have-some-cake) ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png) *

My projection as Venezuelan ambassador in projects

![Screenshot_6.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/hrjb7033-Screenshot_6.png) Every time I had the opportunity, I tried to participate in any promotional activity of the STEEM Blockchain, that led me to know two incredible projects, where unfortunately, I could only be selected in one. These were @fundition and @steem-ambassador, I could stay in the first project, but in the second one I didn't get an answer from my application ---> [El altruismo en tiempos de crisis | Propuesta de Cambio | / The altruism on a crisis time | A proposal for a Change |](https://steemit.com/promo-steem/@ilazramusic/elaltruismoentiemposdecrisispropuestadecambiothealtruismonacrisistimeaproposalforachange-k5eueozlzv) As Venezuelan ambassador of @fundition, I guided projects that were able to get a lot of projection within the DApp like @celfmagazine and @rutablockchain. ![Screenshot_7.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/WNkT4VH7-Screenshot_7.png) In addition, I was able to work as a translator on the platform, both for Fundition's website and its blog ---> [FUNDITION POLYGLOT - EP.3 [GER-TWN-ESP]](https://steemit.com/fundition/@moncia90/fundition-polyglot-ep3-gertwnesp-9r0ibcci) ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png) *

Meet-Up Work

Even though I didn't have a project as such until September 2018, every activity I did to support the community was on a personal level, I was able to attend a couple of Meet-Ups to contribute ideas and suggestions to creators and give life testimonies so that many people would adopt the blockchain and become part of the community. ![](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/jxuAFXep-8SzwQbWfyXBny5TN4kBhEfsrGtNXpXT6z963np2K1PUUzqnTjnVh8BJkPRkzF8WHe6cxYMrFbU9ckSCF8JtxwqbZosHnqvVtsFn5tAKT31gujKub1Ee.jpg) First I attended the meet-up organized by the @engranaje community, which took place in 'La Colonia Tovar', Aragua state, Venezuela; it was an incredible activity, because beyond having a good time, I could spread a lot the word of how with music you could obtain really significant incomes to be able to sustain yourself. ![](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/zw8Ymedq-B69zEgfimp9FXYVozjYobemKDTUNEqKxYZWquF2QDJNTtd5uetwtmmh3dixEFU2rRAu9AtoFwdN8Rbm5UwEK4pWmbHyfycRN2rFMvLfQ.png) [Fuente](https://steemit.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/lafamiliaquesteemitmeregalmeet-upcoloniatovar-jowi75y3aw) Besides that, I was sent with another mission delegated to me by @meno, which consisted in talking about Steempay, a Dapp that had the function of serving as a wallet for businesses, without having to use the Steemit blog to receive and send STEEM with the same ease that the blog wallet had. ![62PdCoV9UZnkJU146iR7vBVz1r1Ktqa8cL11FLhCgbSiLH5qP5dRBm1ouVdJSzkE9RSJm1fSZRYtVNEWVAqgLRSKAAp9zTPXYgviABKz2YWc7UA.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/zKT5idzt-62PdCoV9UZnkJU146iR7vBVz1r1Ktqa8cL11FLhCgbSiLH5qP5dRBm1ouVdJSzkE9RSJm1fSZRYtVNEWVAqgLRSKAAp9zTPXYgviABKz2YWc7UA.jpg) During my speech, I also talked about @fundition, since I was a 'fundition ambassador' in Venezuela, so I wanted to spread the word about how to do 'crowfunding' projects, so the talk was quite extensive, but productive. ![62PdCoV9UZnkJU146iR7vBVz1r1Ktqa8cL11FLhCgbSiLH5qP5dRBm1ouVdJSzkE9RSJm1fSZRYtVNEWVAqgLRSKAAp9zTPXYgviABKz2f48wcS.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/qdAJnnCY-62PdCoV9UZnkJU146iR7vBVz1r1Ktqa8cL11FLhCgbSiLH5qP5dRBm1ouVdJSzkE9RSJm1fSZRYtVNEWVAqgLRSKAAp9zTPXYgviABKz2f48wcS.jpg) I remember taking @joseacabrerav there, since he didn't have any way to go, and I told a friend of mine to take us all. In this Meet-up I met great people for the first time in person, great content creators and people who were in the same job as me of spreading the Steem blockchain as a solution to the difficult situation Venezuela was going through: @fermionico, @betamusic, @juandvg, @abelardobravoh, among others. You can see the details in this link ----> [La familia que Steemit me regaló | "Meet-Up Colonia Tovar" |](https://steemit.com/spanish/@ilazramusic/lafamiliaquesteemitmeregalmeet-upcoloniatovar-jowi75y3aw) ![2bP4pJr4wVimqCWjYimXJe2cnCgnM4NEk7x4BkHtXdp.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/ltoAqUrb-2bP4pJr4wVimqCWjYimXJe2cnCgnM4NEk7x4BkHtXdp.jpg) I was part of the Meet-Up carried out in my city of Caracas by the team of @rutablockchain with the initiative to make a greeting to the Steem Fest from Venezuela, it was an awesome activity, I took some people that still didn't begin their blog in Steemit to finish convincing them and I knew incredible authors there with whom I could coexist and spend an incredible time listening to their testimonies: @yetxuni, @dearw, @greciavalentina, @memes777, @madefrance, among others. ![2bP4pJr4wVimqCWjYimXJe2cnCgnG8HdmL1W1PVUEiJ.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lEaTxIbp-2bP4pJr4wVimqCWjYimXJe2cnCgnG8HdmL1W1PVUEiJ.png) This was not the first time I saw the "Ruta team": @danielvehe and @enmy, because they had previously invited me to an initiative called Tú y Tú (You & You) where we could talk a little bit about the situation of STEEM, the Hispanic community and what we could invent to unify ourselves so that we could use every little thing we had available to give a bigger support to all the creators within our communities. You can read the details in the following link ----> [Tú&Tú con @ilazramusic, conociendo steemians - ÚNETE](https://steemit.com/blog/@rutablockchain/ttconilazramusicconociendosteemians-nete-vhg4kc5wgb) ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png) *

Connections to the English-Speaking community

![Screenshot_5.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/DdFnfzdE-Screenshot_5.png) Many people on the other side of the world, didn't know the situation in Venezuela and how STEEM was impacting positively in our lives, so my work also had to go beyond the simple fact of looking for the adoption of STEEM in Venezuela, we also needed help from the English-Speaking communities, because they had more possibilities of growth and investment in STEEM than any of us. When I became ambassador of @fundition, I met @pennsif, an incredible user, with a feeling and goal to make community like the best; among some talks inside Fundition's Discord server, he invited me to a program he was doing in the PAL community (Peace, Abundance, Liberty). There I got to know @meno in depth and received the tool I spoke about earlier (Steempay.co). In addition, I was able to give my testimony and the testimony of many Venezuelans to people who, for the most part, didn't even know where Venezuela was on the globe. You can see the details in the following links: * [Here Comes The News - Thursday 20 September - with @timcliff, @cryptocurator, @krnel, @hightouch, @enisshkurti, @meno, @ilazramusic, @miguelvargas & @gregorypatrick](https://peakd.com/mspwaves/@pennsif/here-comes-the-news-thursday-20-september-with-timcliff-cryptocurator-krnel-hightouch-enisshkurti-meno-ilazramusic-miguelvargas) * [Here Comes The News - 27 September 2018 [recording] - with @hightouch, @enisshkurti, @kingswisdom, @cryptohazard, @meno, @ilazramusic, @miguelvargas & @gregorypatrick](https://peakd.com/mspwaves/@pennsif/ycnyvlkj) * [Here Comes The News - 13 September 2018 [recording] - with @davidfar, @reko, @newenx, @carlagonz, @ilazramusic, @thedegensloth & @gregorypatrick](https://peakd.com/mspwaves/@pennsif/0r2p3rnr) ![Separador Ilazra.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/ilazramusic/lJrk1Lz4-Separador20Ilazra.png) *
