Memories & Loss
Greetings of love to all shadow hunters and reflection enthusiasts.
There's a saying, "People will leave, but memories will remain."
That's how human life is: either we'll be left behind or we'll leave. Human life will always be tied to memories. A wise man said, "When someone tries to forget a memory, at the same time, they're also trying to remember it."
Losing someone precious truly has a psychological impact, especially if we haven't had the chance to put a smile on their face, but instead, we only experience growing disappointment, before the clock in the living room stops at a number that holds both bitter and happy memories.
Even if a thousand sunsets come, they can't replace just one, where we joked and laid our grievances, all the fatigue and sweat on their shoulders worn down by time. Take a moment to stare at the person you love, gaze at them, and say to yourself, "One day they will surely leave, and become scattered memories in your slowly brittle heart." And when that time comes, will you be able to endure all the pain?
Because the clouds in your heart can't be dispelled by the thousands of suns rising and perching on your roof. You know who your sun is, you know who your sunset is, you know who your dawn is, and you must know that all of this will surely pass.
