As my bus stop is at St. Paul's courtyard, I would have to walk by Paternoster's Square to reach it, but for this morning, I thought I can walk through it as to change my routine. Our hospital is a block away from St. Paul cathedral and in some wards, it gives amazing views together with those buildings in Paternoster Square.
Walking towards the fence surrounding it, the skyline changes to a more visible mixture of old and new structures, a contrast of typical urban setting in London.
Cutting through the garden is a shortcut for my bus stop, just outside the courtyard.
From here is a better view of the side of the cathedral and if one crosses the road to the Millennium bridge, Tate Modern is at the opposite side. Stairs can also be found if one fancy a river walk along River Thames.
Or if in wanting some dramatic photos of St. Paul's, I have seen great images that were taken from the Millennium Bridge. This includes images of the Shard, another iconic structure of London's skyline.
