The first assignment in the book: The Loving Parent Guidebook, which is the solution to the Adult Child of Alcoholics dilemma of powerlessness over everything, is to draw a picture of the inner family constellation.
When I say "powerlessness over everything" what do I mean by this? The Adult Child of Alcoholics grew up in chaos. This child never new what was going to happen next. During the years of brain development, ages 0-7, this child never new safety, love, encouragement, discipline, trust, or faith in a way that is truly useful in the world. When this child set out to become a successful adult, most of these children find themselves recreating the same scenario that they knew at home and they find themselves incapable of creating a new manner of living that is in alignment with their true inner desires. Why is this?
My guess is that this realm is really a spiritual conquest - it's about spiritual growth rather than materialism, albeit the powers that should not be in this realm would have us believe we are here to consume and discard - the true purpose is spiritual growth, and Adult Children of Alcoholics are the most obvious products of that Old Soul Mission.
Therefore, they must heal - or be faced with the same degradation over and over. The way of healing is Spiralic - hence the spiral in the Heart of the Inner Loving Parent - around and around we go as we evolve - this is the way of this realm. Each time we come around through similar circumstances, we do a little better.
The Organization, Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families includes the latter - but I am going to focus on Alcoholism only for the purposes of this post - because Alcoholism is a demonic spirit, therefore setting these families apart from others slightly. To be possessed by a demonic spirit which is passed down generationally and never truly acknowledged by society is worth discussion.
Here are some books which support my assertion: Initiation into Hermetics, by Franz Bardon, Pranic Psychology by Choa Kok Sui, and Alcoholism, The Hidden Significance, by Douglas Baker, that Alcohol, as we know it, is an interdimenstional Elemental Spirit which travels through family lineages over time, feeding off of passions, which induces the unsuspecting human to participate in.
In dysfunctional families, this also may be the case - but it would be a different spirit - certainly it is likely and the same rules may apply but that is for each person to decide for themselves, through their own investigation.
We definitely know, for a fact that Alcohol is a Spirit - it is stated on many liquor stores - "wine and spirits" are sold.
The origin of the word Liquor - 1700 is blood and / or spirit... and this is proven in that hard liquor does contain the spirit of the plant from which it was derived. This is a subject which is ignored and hidden, obfuscated and not discussed much...however it is the fermentation process - Plant Matter > Alcohol > Vinegar... and to go even deeper - is the plant asked permission before it's spirit is enslaved in alcohol? Probably not in mainstream society - perhaps in the old ways - which, As Above - So Below - would lead to enslavement of the one who is complicit in this violation of the Natural Law Rights of Living Beings... a topic for another time.
So therefore, alcohol is a spirit. For those with generational spiritual unrest, due to unresolved karma - the alcohol spirit puts the embiber's unrested spirit to sleep so that then other spirits can jump into their body and take it for a Joy Ride... this is known as a Blackout in the drinking world. I have a clairvoyant friend who has seen spirits jumping into people's throats at the bar...
Children born into this environment usually become adepts in their extrasensory abilities in order to survive...therefore it is probably a form of Initiation... However there are many layers to this - because there are symptoms that the Adult Child, who never matures, takes on and weaves into a personality - The Laundry List and the Other Laundry List ... as well as the Long Big Red Book...
Here is the Auragraph: The inner child is in the lower left hand corner - facing the Feminine side, which is the Future. She exists in the same dimension as the Loving Parent, (although situationally, she is cornered into the most difficult position in the drawing seemingly unable to escape, except dimensionally) which is a winged heart - which is the symbol of the carrying the message of the heart to the world - The Inner Loving Parent. Because they are in color - her eyes are the color of the wings and her lips are the color of the heart and her hair - her intuitive antenna - is golden - 3 colors representing the Trinity - Intuition, Thoughts (Mentalism, in all it's facets), and Action.
To go a little deeper into the Trinity - Intuition is messages received from the Source Realm - the Aetheric Plane, Life Force Energy of the Great Mystery of the Creator - Gold... Thoughts, formulated in the Mind which is the Brain - lower brain, middle brain, and they higher brain - all these facets inform the "thought" - this can be found by reading Your Mind And How To Use It, as well as through meditation - And then action which is a culmination of utilizing these balanced parts of the brain, mind, and intuition into a well-thunk-out course of action - a way to embody principles in the world which will be for the Highest Good of ALL.
The Inner Teenager, who's attitude is pretty much a big rebellious "fuck you" to everything, stands behind her, and gags her. Inner Teen's middle finger points toward the Right which is the Masculine - and the past. She does this for the Inner Child's "protection" she believes. The Teen may be what a lot of the Adult Children identify with - in the long run - and the Inner Teen funnels the desires of the Inner Child through herself - but she doesn't let the Inner Child have a voice, because it just isn't safe. The Inner Teen has the snake around her neck - which is the Inner Critical Parent. The Inner Critical Parent holds impossible standards for the Inner Children to live up to and berates them incessantly trying to control their feelings and behavior. Behind the whole cluster is the Alcoholism Parasite which is feeding off of the fumes produced by this perpetual inner conflict... and even the alcoholism of the Adult Child.
If the Adult Child develops their own alcoholism, drug addiction, food addiction or gambling problem, this may be of benefit in the long run because if the Adult Child does not develop a life and death ailment which they must stop in order to survive, they may just live in PTSD state for their entire lives and never recover, and pass it on to the next generation.
If, however, they recognize their situation in lieu of Death, they can recover through Spiritual means. Only a reliance upon a Higher Power and living a life of strict Morality, will blast out the demonic Alcoholism Parasite.
The Adult Child, long suffering, develops physical imbalances over time which do not respond to modern medicine - gut issues, neurological disorders, body aches and pains, trouble breathing - I will name the diagnosis'I have seen masking Adult Child Trauma - IBS, Colitis, GERD, Acid Reflux, MS, Parkinson's, Asthma, Fybromyalgia - to name a few - ask the patient if they are an adult child and whatever they are manifesting is likely the cause of their dis-ease.
What is the answer? My experience has shown that a combination of God-reliance however you find it, living by Morality (Natural Law), and the Emotion Code, which removes trapped emotions, as well as "reparenting" and using techniques such as havening, EFT Tapping, and other forms of "self-soothing" can bring out the Inner Child from under the stairs, and quiet the Inner Teen and Inner Critic, so that the Inner Loving Parent can join with the True Inner Self - who is Inner Child so that the person can live an authentic life.
