After the wedding, a nice vacation would be good for my wife and me. So we chose Antalya for our vacation. If you've heard of Turkey before and thought about vacationing there, I'm sure you've heard of Antalya. Today I'll tell you about our adventures in Antalya.

Let's start with the journey. This is an area connected to Antalya and is called Kuşyuvası, but honestly, I don't know exactly where it is. It's a place I always remember for its dangerous roads. I went to high school in Antalya and had to travel this road several times a year. You had to drive so close to the cliff that if you made even the slightest mistake, unfortunately, you had no chance of survival. The worst part is that sometimes they can't even retrieve your body. It's a very mountainous area where even helicopters have trouble landing. Anyway, that's not what we're here to talk about today. We took a break here today, and I want to share an incredible view with you. I hope you like it too. We stopped for a break and had some tea in an area between the mountains, above the clouds. Tea is always a great drink, but it's even better with a view of nature.

Guess what license plate I saw on the road? A license plate with the abbreviation of my favorite team, Galatasaray! What a coincidence! What's more, as I write this post, Galatasaray has a Champions League match against Liverpool in a few hours. I don't smell any pleasant scents, but if you're a die-hard fan of a team, you never stop supporting them or hoping for the best. Football is full of miracles.

We arrived in Antalya and rested until evening; we had no other choice because it was extremely hot. Antalya is truly a wonderful place; I loved watching the sunset there, but it was so hot, and when you go there from a cooler place, it feels even hotter. Going from 82 degrees to 100 degrees in an instant was a shock. In the evening, we went out to explore the area and buy some things. The hotel we stayed at had air conditioning, but unfortunately, the internet was problematic. Luckily, I reported the issue to the front desk, and they fixed it by the next morning. This is important because you can't go out during the day—the weather is hellishly hot, and without internet, you'd go stir-crazy in the hotel for hours.

Since our hotel included breakfast, we started the second day with breakfast. I love buffet breakfasts. Not because I eat a lot, but because I can eat as much as I want of whatever I want.

Breakfast was on the hotel's terrace, and I noticed there was a small library there too. That meant I could sit on the terrace and read a book after breakfast. My wife and I did this a few times. Of course, we didn't have enough time to finish a book, but reading is always good for you. It clears your mind and sharpens your thoughts.

Another reason I loved reading on the terrace was the amazing view. Reading while looking at the endless sea and trees was the best. If there had been a fan on the terrace, I would probably have spent more time there.

In the evening, we went out and continued exploring the city. We made a plan because there were so many places to visit. Did you see the huge construction machines in the terrace view? There are historical sites there, and you should know how much I love visiting historical sites.

Düğünden sonra iyi bir tatil yapmak eşim ve bana iyi gelecekti. Biz de tatil için Antalya'yı tercih ettik. Türkiye'yi daha önce duyduysanız ve tatil yapmayı aklnızdan geçirdiyseniz Antalya'yı eminim duymuşsunuzdur. Bugün sizinle Antalya'daki maceralarımızdan bahsedeceğim.

Yolculuktan başlayalım, burası Antalya'ya bağlı bir bölge ve Kuşyuvası olarak adlandırılıyor ama inanın tam olarak nerede olduğunu bilmiyorum. Burası benim hep tehlikeli yollarıyla hatırladığım bir yer. Liseyi Antalya'da okumuştum ve yılda birkaç defa bu yoldan geçmek zorunda kalıyordum, uçuruma o kadar yakın yolculuk yapmanız gerekiyordu ki en ufak yanlış bir harekette maalesef kurtulma şansınız yok. İşin kötü yanı bazen ölü bedeninizi bile alamıyorlar. Çok dağlık ve helikopterlerin bile iniş yapmakta zorlandığı bir alan. Her neyse, bugün konumuz bu değil, bugün burada bir mola verdik ve inanılmaz bir manzarayı sizinle paylaşmak istiyorum. Umarım sizin de hoşunuza gider. Dağların arasında, bulutlaın üstünde bir bölgede mola yaptık ve çay içtik. Çay her zaman harika bir içecek ama doğa manzarasıyla çok daha güzel.

Tahmin edin yolda hangi plakalı bir araç gördüm? Benim favori takımım olan Galatasaray'ın kısaltmasının geçtiği bir plaka! Ne tesadüf ama! Üstelik ben bu gönderiyi yazarken birkaç saat sonra Galatasaray'ın şampiyonlar liginde Liverpool ile maçı var. Burnuma hoş kokular gelmiyor ama bir takımın sıkı taraftarıysanız asla desteklemeyi ve ümitlenmeyi bırakmazsınız. Futbol mucizelerle doludur.

Antalya'ya vardık ve akşama kadar dinlendik zaten başka şansımız yoktu çünkü aşırı sıcaktı. Antalya gerçekten mükemmel bir yer, orada günbatımını izlemeye bayıldım ama o kadar sıcaktı ki, üstelik serin bir yerden oraya gittiğinizde daha da sıcak hissettiriyor. Bir anda 28 dereceden 38 dereceye iniş yapmak şok etkisi yarattı. Akşam üzeri etrafı keşfetmek ve bir şeyler almak için dışarı çıktık. Kaldığımız otelde klima vardı ama ne yazık ki internet problemliydi. Neyse ki resepsiyona durumu ilettim ve ertesi sabaha sorunu çözdüler. Bu önemli çünkü gündüz dışarı çıkamıyorsunuz, hava cehennem sıcağı ve internetiniz olmazsa saatlerce otelde sıkıntıdan patlarsınız.

Otelimiz kahvaltı dahil olduğu için ikinci güne kahvaltı yaparak başladık. Açık büfe kahvaltıları seviyorum. Çok fazla şey yiyeceğim için değil, dilediğim şeyden dilediğim kadar yiyebildiğim için.

Kahvaltı otelin teras katındaydı ve terasta küçük bir kitaplık da olduğunu fark ettim. Yani bu kahvaltıdan sonra biraz terasta oturup kitap okuyabileceğim anlamına geliyordu. Bunu eşimle birlikte birkaç defa yaptık. Tabi ki kitap bitirecek kadar zamanımız yoktu ama kitap okumak ne olursa olsun insana iyi geliyor. Zihnini temizliyor ve düşüncelerinizi netleştiriyor.

Terasta kitap okumayı sevmemin bir diğer sebebi de harika bir manzaraya sahip olması. Sonsuz denizi ve ağaçları izleyerek kitap okumak en iyisiydi. Terasta bir vantilatör olsaydı muhtemelen daha çok zaman geçirirdim.

Akşam üzeri dışarı çıkıp şehri keşfetmeye devam ettik. Bir plan yaptık çünkü gezmemiz gereken çok yer vardı. Teras manzarasında devasa iş makinelerini gördünüz değil mi? İşte orada tarihi yerler var ve benim tarihi yerleri gezmeyi ne kadar sevdiğimi biliyor olmalısınız.
