A few weeks ago, I told you that Crownrend had received a new update and that I would no longer be recording new chest opening videos. Still, I wanted to try the chests out, and I will share the results with you.

I mentioned that the price of chests had increased to 10,000 denars with the new update, which I believe already prevented me from opening chests, but subsequently, denar production was also nerfed. Denar production and Vault level have been reduced to 1/6 for everyone. Whereas before I could claim over 2 million denars in a single claim, now I can only claim around 400,000 denars. Additionally, increasing the Vault level is much more difficult, if not impossible, compared to before. Reaching the old levels? That’s like a dream. So, even for the 276 chests I’m sharing with you now, I had to spend 4-5 days’ worth of denar claims.

Now, chests contain items called “consumables.” These allow you to train stronger units that you couldn't normally train. This is a significant advantage, but on the other hand, it also means you can only obtain a very small amount of Ori from chests now. I don't know exactly how much it has decreased, but it might be as little as one-sixth of what you would normally obtain.

Another thing that’s changed, in my opinion, is the rarity of items. Since the chest system changed, I might not have gotten any Mythic or more valuable items. What does this mean? Shouldn’t the items you already have or get from chests be very valuable? Before the update, I obtained an Ancient Mine Level item from a chest and, despite listing it on the market at a very low price, I couldn't find a buyer. To be honest, I don't think I'll be able to find one either.

35 Noble Deeds—I think that was the most valuable thing I obtained. It's a consumable that allows you to produce special Cavalry units.

Since I’ve opened thousands of chests before, it surprised me that opening 276 chests took so little time. However, I can’t imagine opening any more because, as I said, with my single claim, I can only open up to 40 chests. Opening 1,000 chests would require 25 claims. Even if I don't produce any troops, I still need to make claims for 6 days. So I can say goodbye to opening chests. In my opinion, the most fun feature of this game was opening chests, and I don't know how long I'll keep playing without it. Although the denar price experienced a short-term spike with the update, it is now almost worth 0 hive. Some developments regarding the game were discussed on the Discord server, and as a result, they decided that it would be pointless to release a new update for the game. The team said they would work more extensively on a new game and release it to the market. I guess this post also marks the end of an era.
Thank you very much for reading. You can still sign up for the game using my link, but I don’t know if you’d like to :P See you in the next post!
