Walking & Eating with My Love - Eşimle Yürüyüş & Yemek [EN-TR]

I mentioned before how hot the weather has been, but it's slowly cooling down here. Last night, my wife and I went for a walk outside and went out to eat. The temperature was around 30 degrees. While that's not too hot for daytime, it's quite warm for 8 PM. Right?  In this photo, you can see a tree that has an unusually large number of birds perched on it. While there are only a few birds on all the other trees, there are over a hundred on this one. I don't know what kind of tree it is, but the birds really love it. We're very careful when walking underneath it; we don't want our clothes to get ruined. Even though this is such an underdeveloped area, it keeps getting investments and new places keep opening up. My wife attributes this to the fact that there are so many government employees here. Middle-class people want to see corporate places where they can spend their money. They want to go to places like Burger King or Dominos. Because even though local places are nice, they can sometimes be unreliable. Eating a 7 out of 10 meal every time is sometimes better than eating a 9 out of 10 or a 5 out of 10 meal. Some people think that way.  Yesterday, we took that risk and went to a local restaurant where we could get a 5-9 out of 10 meal. Cevdet Usta is a really good restaurant. I had a chicken shish kebab wrap, and my wife had a kebab wrap. We both really liked the food. There was also ayran and salad with the meal, and the two of us paid a total of 440 TL. Very reasonable prices by Turkish standards. About 5 dollars.  It was an active evening for us. We went for a walk and had our meal. We watched the full moon on our walk back home. It looked beautiful, but my camera couldn't capture it that well.  When we got home, Pamuk was waiting for us at the door because we came in with a bag. That's a sign for him. He always thinks we've brought him something. We usually do bring him something, but we hadn't this time. We played with him a bit, and then he went to his corner. It's very hot, so he's not very active either. He's active for a few hours a day and then finds a cool place to sleep. Thanks for reading. Dün akşam eşimle dışarıda yürüyüş yaptık ve bir şeyler yemeye gittik. Hava yaklaşık 30 dereceydi. Bu gündüz için çok sıcak olmasa da akşam 8 için çok sıcak. Değil mi?  Bu fotoğrafta gördüğünüz ağaca garip bir şekilde çok fazla kuş konuyor. Diğer bütün ağaçlarda birkaç kuş varken bu ağaçta yüzden fazla kuş var. Ne ağacı olduğunu bilmiyorum ama onu çok seviyorlar. Altından geçerken çok dikkatli oluyoruz, kıyafetlerimizin mahvolmasını istemeyiz. Burası o kadar gelişmemiş bir bölge olmasına rağmen sürekli olarak yatırım alıyor ve yeni yerler açılıyor. Eşim bunu burada çok fazla memur olmasına bağlıyor. Orta sınıf insanlar parasını harcayabileceği kurumsal yerler görmek isterler. Burger King gibi, Dominos gibi yerlere gitmek isterler. Çünkü yerel yerler güzel olsa da bazen güvenilmez olabiliyorlar. Her zaman 10 üzerinden 7 yemek yemek bazen 10 üzerinden 9 bazen 10 üzerinden 5 yemek yemekten daha iyidir. Bazı insanlar böyle düşünür.  Biz ise dün bu riski göze aldık ve 10 üzerinden 5-9 arasında yemek yiyebileceğimiz yerel bir restorana gittik. Cevdet Usta gerçekten kaliteli bir restoran. Ben tavuk şiş dürüm yedim, eşim de kebap dürüm yedi. İkimiz de yemeği çok beğendik. Yemeğin yanında ayran ve salata da vardı ve iki kişi toplam 440 TL verdik. Türkiye standartlarına göre çok uygun fiyatlar. Yaklaşık 5 dolar.  Bizim için verimli bir akşam oldu. Hem yürüyüş yaptık, hem yemeğimizi yedik. Eve geri yürürken dolunayı izledik. Çok güzel görünüyordu ama kameram onu o kadar güzel gösteremiyor.  Eve döndüğümüzde Pamuk bizi kapıda bekliyordu, çünkü elimizde poşetle eve girdik. Bu onun için bir işaret. Her zaman ona bir şey aldığımızı düşünüyor. Genelde bir şeyler alıyoruz da ama bu sefer almamıştık. Onunla biraz oynadık ve sonra köşesine çekildi. Çok sıcak olduğu için o da çok hareketli değil. Günde birkaç saat aktif oluyor ve sonra uyuyacak serin bir yer bulup uyuyor. Okuduğunuz için teşekkürler, bu benim çok uzun zaman sonra yayınladığım günlük yürüyüş ve eşimle zaman geçirme postum.
