## Spanish Aunque algo que todos en el mundo conocemos y sabemos que tenemos es el libre albedrío, ciertamente la realidad es que no es algo que todos lleguen a usar al 100%, ya que nos regimos por normas, reglas y sobre todo creencias que debemos seguir al pie de la letra en muchos lugares, o simplemente estamos tan sumergidos en estas que recordar que tenemos la voluntad propia se vuelve incluso un tabú. Ciertamente, un mantra que debemos tener siempre con nosotros es que "creer en nosotros mismos es lo que nos va a dar el bienestar y la energía para avanzar". La cosa es que justo podemos tener esa instrucción desde que comenzamos a dudar de nosotros, y esto porque, viendo un poco en retrospectiva, de niños tenemos momentos en los que nuestro propio juicio nos llevó a explorar y hacer cosas que nos hacían sentir plenos y a creer más en nuestras capacidades, y justamente ahí es donde aparecía esa encrucijada, donde o recibíamos el apoyo y se fortalecía ese creer propio, o se nos imponían creencias distintas, haciendo que dejáramos de lado lo que queríamos por seguir lo correcto. En mi caso, tanto en casa de mi abuela como en casa de mi madre, la cantidad de creencias, tanto en religión, forma de actuar, superstición e incluso bienestar, es tan variada que podría cada uno fácilmente dar una categoría propia, y esto parte de lo que es adaptar ciertas creencias a lo que más nos convenga y ayude y aplicar las propias que aprendemos para, así como quien dice, dar nuestro punto de vista. No obstante, aunque cada quien tenga sus propias creencias, todos hemos pasado por esa batalla con aquellas cuyas imposiciones son fuertes. En mi casa, mi padre con su religión y las formas en las que las mujeres, según él, deben ser o pensar, y por otro lado, mi abuela, el temor escondido sobre la diversidad sexual y el sentimentalismo.  Y entonces es justo donde más tengo que afinar mi creencia hacia esos mitos y capacidades propias, porque a la larga somos nosotros los que vamos a estar realmente conscientes de quiénes somos y qué tanto de nosotros podemos dar, y por más expectantes que estemos en que alguien más crea en nosotros, la verdad es que nunca será al 100 por ciento, pues solo nosotros mismos vemos el total de nuestros talentos. Hay una canción incluso que amo mucho y siento que va completamente con este tema, la cual es del cantante venezolano Lasso y se llama "De tú a tú", y es que su letra tiene justo esa energía que, en mi caso, es todo un empujón necesario hacia lo que es actuar y, lo más importante, creer en uno mismo más allá de las creencias o entornos que esperan los demás, así como algo importante que dice, que es "me verán caer, enloquecer, pero eso no será una excusa"; más que todo, eso es de mis frases favoritas que tienen un gran mensaje. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jscmZWXcskc&list=RDjscmZWXcskc&start_radio=1 Y es justamente seguir nuestras propias directrices, ideas y creencias; será algo en lo que empezando caeremos y fallaremos, y también será juzgado por no ser igual al de los otros, pero a la larga da sus frutos y la esencia que nos va a definir, y en mi caso estoy justo en el recorrido de esa lucha. --- Así que, bueno, este es mi aporte para este tema propuesto por @talentos para este #encuentrodetalentos semanal, esperando sea de su agrado y muchas gracias por leer. ---  ## English Although free will is something everyone in the world knows and knows they have, the reality is that it's not something everyone ever fully uses. We're governed by norms, rules, and, above all, beliefs that we must follow to the letter in many places, or we're simply so immersed in them that remembering we have free will becomes taboo. Certainly, a mantra we should always keep with us is that "believing in ourselves is what will give us well-being and the energy to move forward." The thing is, we can have that instruction from the moment we began to doubt ourselves. This is because, looking back a little, as children, we have moments when our own judgment led us to explore and do things that made us feel fulfilled and to believe more in our abilities. And that's precisely where that crossroads appeared, where either we received support and that self-belief was strengthened, or different beliefs were imposed on us, causing us to put aside what we wanted to follow the right thing. In my case, both at my grandmother's house and at my mother's, the number of beliefs—regarding religion, behavior, superstition, and even well-being—is so varied that each of us could easily create our own category. This stems from adapting certain beliefs to what best suits and helps us, and applying our own beliefs to, so to speak, express our point of view. However, although everyone has their own beliefs, we've all gone through that battle with those whose impositions are strong. In my house, it was my father with his religion and the ways he believed women should be or think, and on the other hand, my grandmother, with the hidden fear about sexual diversity and sentimentality.  And that's precisely where I have to fine-tune my belief in those myths and our own abilities the most, because in the long run, we are the ones who will truly be aware of who we are and how much of ourselves we can give. No matter how much we expect someone else to believe in us, the truth is that it will never be 100 percent, because only we ourselves see the full extent of our talents. There's even a song that I love very much and feel fits perfectly with this theme. It's by the Venezuelan singer Lasso and is called "De tú a tú." Its lyrics have just that energy that, in my case, is a necessary push toward acting and, most importantly, believing in oneself beyond the beliefs or environments that others expect. It also says something important, which is "they will see me fall, go crazy, but that will not be an excuse."
