Fernando Alonso: The Paper Man [ENG/ESP]

Hello everyone, one of the ways we've most been able to encourage the practice and use of values has been through reading, through stories that promote, through stories and fantasies, the use of good manners and the appreciation of proper treatment of others. That's why there's usually a wide variety of books in my house, and I've always had a special attachment to stories, since they always entertain and engage us, and they manage to entice and convey a message, even indirectly. Therefore, today I'll share one of the stories, one from my sister's collection and with a very important message: "The Little Paper Man" by Fernando Alonso. >Hola a todos, una de las formas con las que más hemos podido incentivar la práctica y uso de valores ha sido a través de la lectura, a través de los cuentos que promueven desde las historias y fantasías el uso de las buenas costumbres y la apreciación del trato correcto hacia los demás. Por eso en mi casa suele haber mucha variedad de libros y yo siempre he tenido un apego de más hacia los cuentos, ya que siempre nos divierten y atraen, y logran atraer y dar el mensaje de una forma incluso indirecta. Por ende, por el día de hoy les compartiré uno de los cuentos, que es de la colección de mi hermana y posee un muy importante mensaje, el cual es "El Hombresillo de Papel" de Fernando Alonso.    This book, published in 1978 by Spanish writer Fernando Alonso, is his best-known work. It was illustrated by Ulises Wensell and published by Ediciones Gaviota in 1995. It won the Spanish National Prize for Children's Literature in 1979. It presents a story in the category of very gentle fiction, intended to raise awareness about the treatment of children, based on their innocence with the real world and how they process each situation from end to end, with that fine line between informing and traumatizing, since the minds of children are too blank and young for certain things. >Este libro publicado en 1978 por el escritor español Fernando Alonso es su trabajo más conocido, siendo acompañado con ilustraciones de Ulises Wensell, y estando en 1995 bajo la editorial Ediciones Gaviota. Posee el Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil en España en 1979. Nos trae un cuento con una categoría de ficción muy suave, destinado a concienciar sobre el trato hacia los niños desde su inocencia con el mundo real y cómo estos procesan cada situación que se presenta de extremo a extremo, con esa delgada línea entre informar y traumar, ya que la mente de los infantes es muy blanca y joven para ciertas cosas.     We learn the story of a little girl playing in her room and, after some creations, making a little newspaper man, who befriends her and begins to play with him and his friends. However, as this little man interacts with the children, he realizes that all he knows is war, famine, massacres, and the cruel reality of human life, which saddens children. So he seeks a way to change and find a way to make them smile and be happy. >Conocemos así una historia de una pequeña niña que juega en su cuarto y, luego de algunas creaciones, hace un pequeño hombre de papel periódico con el que se hace amigo y comienza a jugar con este y amigos. Sin embargo, al este pequeño hombrecillo interactuar con los pequeños, se da cuenta de que todo lo que conoce es sobre guerras, hambrunas, masacres y la cruel realidad humana que se vive y que eso entristece a los niños, por lo cual busca su camino para cambiar y tener cómo hacerlos sonreír y estar alegres.     Despite being a short story, the visual part it has with the drawings makes it striking, even being a means to understand the story even without reading it, which makes it totally interactive with children at different ages, reminding me of when I was in school and my teacher used these tools to capture our attention, whether from reading, listening to it or the visual part, which I must emphasize is very colorful and it completely covers the entire story from beginning to end, being appropriate for this story, making it feel as if it were even made by children, which I like a lot. >A pesar de ser un cuento corto, la parte visual que tiene con los dibujos lo hace llamativo, siendo incluso un medio para entender el cuento incluso sin leerlo, cosa que lo hace totalmente interactivo con los niños en diversas edades, recordándome a mí cuando estaba en la escuela y mi profesora usaba estas herramientas para captar nuestra atención, ya fuera desde la lectura, el escucharla o la parte visual, la cual debo destacar que es muy colorida y esta abarca de manera completa toda la historia de principio a fin, siendo acorde para este cuento, haciéndolo sentir como si fuera incluso hecho por niños, lo que me gusta mucho.     This book clearly highlights the importance of information management and how it can be easily accessible to children, thus being very empowering for their growing age. It also reinforces the value of understanding and the importance of nurturing this happy stage every child should have, the attitude and voice with which they should be treated, and thus cultivating healthy and appropriate values. Without a doubt, this is a favorite book of my sister's, precisely because it is one of those tools in her growth since she was little, and it is highly recommended, along with others, to encourage reading and healthy curiosity. >Este libro resalta bien lo que es el manejo de la información y cómo puede estar al alcance de los pequeños de manera fácil, pudiendo así ser muy fuerte para sus edades en crecimiento. Así mismo, refuerzan el valor de la comprensión y la importancia de cuidar esa etapa feliz que todo niño debe tener, el acto y la voz con la que se les debe tratar y cultivar así los valores de manera sana y correcta.
