Hi everyone, this is my first post of this kind, as I'm not usually shy about talking about outfits and styles. However, recently, as I was breaking away from my routine, I decided to express and share a little about my clothing preferences. A few days ago, I tried out a more mature and serious style than the typical rocker look I always wear, taking advantage of a short shopping trip.
>Hola a todos, esta es mi primera publicación de este estilo, ya que no suelo ser un poco tímida con hablar de outfits y estilos; sin embargo, recientemente, al estar saliendo de mi rutina, me animé a expresar y compartir un poco sobre mis gustos con respecto a vestimentas. Y bueno, hace unos días estuve probando un estilo más maduro y serio que el típico rockero que uso siempre, aprovechando que salió una pequeña salida a hacer compras.
To start, something I wore outside the box was this little turtleneck shirt. While I used to wear them as a child, I'd avoided them these days. However, I was surprised by how good it looked, giving me an air that was even more in keeping with my age, something I tend to be more relaxed about. This one was red, which is one of my favorites. The shape it gave my waist, due to its tight fit and the type of fabric, was more than beneficial.
>Para empezar, algo que usé fuera de lo clásico en mí fue esta pequeña camisa con estilo de cuello alto; si bien de pequeña usaba, actualmente había evitado usarlos; sin embargo, me sorprendió lo bien que se ve, dando un aire incluso más acorde a mi edad, cosa que suelo ser más tranquila en ello. Esta era de color rojo, el cual es uno de mis favoritos; así mismo, la forma que hacía a mi cintura, por lo pegada y el tipo de tela, se me hizo más que beneficiosa.
While it was a great option to wear it on its own, the weather has been changeable these days, so, considering the temperature, I wanted to wear my favorite black jacket; perhaps something softer would have worked better with the outfit. However, I wanted to take a bit of a risk with this style to make it a mix-and-match style, which I liked better, as well as pairing it with matching black boots.
>Aunque era una excelente opción usarla así sola, el clima en estos días ha estado cambiante, por lo que, teniendo en cuenta la temperatura, quise usar mi chaqueta favorita negra; tal vez algo más suave hubiera quedado mejor al outfit; sin embargo, quería arriesgarme un poco con este estilo para que fuera una mezcla, lo cual me gustó más, así como también el combinarla con unas botas negras que hacían juego.
Now, for the bottom, my first thought was something tight, but I opted for loose black pants instead, which perfectly matched both the jacket and the boots, making the shirt the center of attention, even making it stand out more. Paired with a red lip, my hair in a ponytail, and a small bag just the right size and style to hold my things.
>Ahora bien, para la parte de abajo, mi primer pensamiento fue algo pegado, pero opté mejor por un pantalón negro suelto, que combinó perfectamente tanto con el estilo de la chaqueta como con las botas, haciendo que el centro de atención fuera la camisa por completo, incluso haciéndola resaltar más. En conjunto, claro, con unos labios rojos y mi cabello en una coleta y un pequeño bolso con el tamaño y estilo para guardar mis cosas.
Not at all, the outfit felt heavy on me during the run and was actually more than comfortable; obviously, the fact that I looked different than I usually do was the point, but it was an experience I really enjoyed, because, as I mentioned before, it's not the style I usually wear, or rather, the image of myself I usually project. However, it was very nice, and I even felt pretty, since it made me look more grown-up, but just the right amount.
>Para nada, el outfit se me hizo pesado en el recorrido y más bien estuvo cómodo; obviamente, el tema de que me veía diferente a como suelo verme era el punto, pero fue una experiencia que disfruté mucho, pues, como mencioné antes, no es el estilo que suelo usar o, mejor dicho, la imagen de mí que suelo proyectar, pero estuvo muy lindo e incluso yo me sentí linda, ya que me hizo ver más adulta, pero en el toque justo y necesario.
