When I was in school, around the age of 11 or 12, I was given a book that I never let go of and that was always in my school bag or on my bed, since I liked it a lot, since it told very funny school stories that even to this day have made said book still be with me, so on this occasion I will talk to you about "El terror de 6.º B", by the writer Yolanda Reyes. >Cuando estaba en la escuela, por allí en la edad de los 11 o 12 años, me regalaron un libro que no soltaba para nada y que siempre estaba en mi bolso de clases o en mi cama, ya que este me gustaba mucho, puesto que narraba historias de escuela muy divertidas que incluso hasta la fecha han hecho que dicho libro esté aún conmigo, por lo que en esta ocasión les hablaré sobre "El terror de 6.º B", de la escritora Yolanda Reyes.   This book was published by Santillana under the Alfaguara label in 1998 (curiously, my year of birth), and has 7 stories plus a small explanation to the readers by the writer as an appetizer of what the book will be, indicating from its initial motivation that these are typical surreal situations and how these derive from the typical phrase of our parents of "When I was young I was not like this" or "I did everything well", being something that caught my attention when they gave me this copy, since it went hand in hand with things that happened to me in classes and that they did not believe me. >Este libro fue publicado por la editorial Santillana bajo el sello de Alfaguara en 1998 (curiosamente, mi año de nacimiento), y cuenta con 7 historias más una pequeña explicación a los lectores por parte de la escritora como un abreboca de lo que será el libro, indicando desde su motivación inicial que son estas típicas situaciones surrealistas y cómo estas derivan de la típica frase de nuestros padres de "Cuando yo era joven no era así" o "Hacía todo bien", siendo algo que a mí me llamó mucho la atención cuando me regalaron este ejemplar, ya que iba a la par con cosas que me pasaban en clases y que no me creían.    This book is intended for ages 10 and up; however, for me it's still a delight to read, and the stories still make me laugh. We have love stories, horror stories, that typical vacation romance, how we can play with classroom prohibitions, and the epicenter, which is the terror of 6th grade B, being a story of what sometimes the horrific events in class can provoke and unleash without us even expecting it. >Y es que este libro está pensado para leer a partir de los 10 años; sin embargo, para mí sigue siendo un deleite de lecturas y me siguen dando risas las historias, y es que tenemos relatos de amor, historias de terrores, ese típico amor de vacaciones, cómo podemos jugar con las prohibiciones en el salón de clases y el epicentro, que es el terror de 6.º B, siendo un relato de lo que a veces las tremenduras en clases son capaces de provocar y desencadenar sin que lo esperemos siquiera.   As for the illustrations, they're by Daniel Rabanal, who gives them a unique touch. Beyond being children's drawings, he gives them a style that's incredibly detailed, with that mix of black colors that emphasizes that we're reading a story accompanied by a drawing that allows us to imagine the scene. Personally, I love it a lot; even the cover, naturally, alludes to the main story, but it hides elements from the others, perfectly integrated. >Con respecto a las ilustraciones, están a cargo de Daniel Rabanal, el cual le da el toque, ya que, más allá de ser dibujos infantiles, le da un estilo a estos que llega a tener mucho detallismo con esa mezcla de colores negros que acentúa que estamos leyendo una historia que estará acompañada con un dibujo que nos permitirá imaginar el escenario que está pasando. En lo personal, me encanta muchísimo; incluso la portada, naturalmente, hace alusión al relato principal, pero en este oculta elementos de los demás excelentemente integrados.   Despite having this book with me for more than 15 years, I still consider it one of my favorites, since not only does it have stories that make me laugh, but they also take me, every time I read them, to memories and moments where I was with this book in various places, even during my university days, where I used to carry it around to read in my free time. >A pesar de tener este libro más de 15 años conmigo, sigo mostrándolo como uno de mis favoritos, ya que no solo tiene unas historias que me hacen reír, sino que me llevan, cada que las leo, a recuerdos y momentos donde estaba con este libro en diversos lugares, incluso en mi etapa de universidad, donde solía llevarlo para leer en ratos libres.   Of my favorite stories I could mention the last one, where it shows us how, when we are in love, we can be capable of doing crazy things so that the other person finds out about our feelings, and the image that accompanies this story is simply majestic, since it transmits to us the feeling of what it is like when we are discovered making these plans, so, even from the first time I saw it, until now I still enjoy seeing it. >De mis historias favoritas podría mencionar la última, donde se nos muestra cómo, al estar enamorados, podemos ser capaces de hacer locuras con tal de que la otra persona se entere de nuestros sentimientos, y la imagen que acompaña a este relato es simplemente majestuosa, ya que nos transmite el sentimiento de lo que es cuando somos descubiertos haciendo estos planes, por lo que, incluso desde la primera vez que lo vi, hasta ahora sigo disfrutando al verlo.   These are reads for all ages; there's no corny or direct tone, but rather writing that's sometimes in the first person and sometimes in the third, which makes us feel deeply connected at times. So, without further ado, it's a total recommendation for anyone, even for sharing with young people. >Son lecturas para cualquier edad; no hay tonos cursis ni directos, sino una redacción que está en ocasiones en primera persona y otras en tercera, lo cual nos sumerge a sentirnos identificados en ocasiones.
