Today I came to you with a post. Today I wanted to make a different post so I was looking for a different community so that I could post there and after searching I found it. I am going to post a community where you can give your opinion only on books. You can tell me about how the book is and its story here. The name of my book is The Future of Another Timeline. This book is written by Annalee Newitz and this book was published in September 24, 2019. You can read this book if you want. I hope you will like today's post.
Book Story
The author sets the story in a world where individuals can travel to the past and the future and this is made possible by certain time rifts formed naturally. Such time cracks are found in specific locations on earth. They can be used by people to move only by themselves and not the objects. Changing the history can be also done by means of this time travel system and a group of people is attempting to do so. The protagonist is called Tess. she is a time traveler a historian. She belongs to the secret feminist group that attempts to transform the misogynistic events in history by traveling in time. They aim to travel into the past to defend rights of women and some of them are right to abort rights to vote equal educational and employment opportunities.
Nevertheless there are those who are against Tess too. We have a group of patriarchal extremist time traveling people that we wish to intervene in history and oppress women. They desire to establish an era where women will be submissive to men and the society will be highly conservative. They attempt to reverse the course of time andeliminate all the progressive processes of the rights of women. Tess and her team engage in fights with such opponents to ensure that the course of history is maintained. They get to the time travelling and go to such period as 1893 1920 1990 and join the movement of feminists. They attempt to stop any changes which will harm women in the future.
Meanwhile the events in the story are also captured in 1990s America where the lives of Beth a teenage girl and her friends are observed. The punk rock music political activism and teenage rebellion help them associate and find their own identity. Beth and her friends raise their voices against the violence of women inequality in gender and unjust rules of the society. They unconsciously plant the seeds of a tremendous change in the future. There is one episode in the tale when Tess discovers that Beth is her former self
i.e. that she herself has travelled back through time and viewed herself as a teenager. This makes a sensational combination of time, identity and memory. Finally Tess and her team triumph in a time battle but they understand that there is no such thing as a fixed history. Every generation has a battle to save history when it comes to its own kind. A lot can be done to make a change but firstly people must be united strong and committed.

All about time travel but not simply a time travel The Future of Another Timeline by Annalee Newitz is a unique sci-fi book consisting of a profound philosophical debate of female rights political struggles of the past and how the individual is able to affect the future. It is a mixture and combination of feminism science and politics of time to an extent that one cannot call it simply science fiction but a piece of time based revolution. Tess is the time traveling historian who is the heroine of the story. She traverses across time and space to make things right as she does this using time rift to ensure that women rights are not compromised. She very well realizes that history is not merely a narrative about an era but a huge politics wherein we could effect change and it is necessary to safeguard that. Meanwhile we have a teenage girl Beth whose novel takes place in the America of 1990s. The life by Beth the punk culture feminist awareness is somehow associated bizarrely with the future of Tess. In this correlation the author intends to show that the relationship between the present and the future is spiritual in addition to the technological relationship.
The book reveals the fact that time is not only an ephemeral phenomenon but a political vehicle to influence the future. The center of this story will be rights of females their position in society and how it can be preserved or ruined due to time. The novel follows us through the various times where we see women struggling to achieve their freedom in the years 1893 1920 and 1990. This book is not only a book to people who like science fiction. It is a great book as well to the people who reflect on politics history society gender inequality or the plight of the woman. The manner in which Annalee Newitz unites time politics and human values is very topical to these days. The Future of Another Timeline is such a cleverly written marvelously rich and considered book. It immerses the reader inside the realms of the imagination and puts the reader with questions of what is reality if we could change the past which reality would we allow to continue to have a foothold on us And which which would we destroy. This novel gets into that question through a human political and emotional quest.
