Estos días estaba diseñando esta cabecita de Camélido sudamericano. Comenzando con la alpaca. Se vé sencillo, aunque detrás hay bastante prueba, error y aprendizaje.

Este diseño se caracteriza por llevar un **color natural** (color crudo). Por otro lado, la alpaca **Suri** es conocida por sus fibras largas, es como si llevase ropa extra. Por eso utilicé una combinación de puntadas distintas, obteniéndo una textura similar al animal real.
>*This design is characterised by a **natural color** (ecru). On the other hand, **Suri** alpaca is known for its long fibres, as if it were wearing extra clothes. That's why I used a combination of different stitches, resulting in a texture similar to the original animal.*
El **hilo amarillo** tiene la fución de señalar la cantidad de **puntos** que están en el **centro**. Esto es para **dejar libre el área** del ocico y la distancia entre los ojos. Antes utilizaba un papel cuadriculado y pintaba los cuadros con textura. La desventaja era que el papel estaba en 2D (2 dimensiones). Ahora, con el hilito puedo hacer cambios de inmediato.
>*The **yellow yarn** has the function to indicate the number of **stitches** that are in the **centre**. This is to **free the area** of the eye and the distance between the eyes. I used to use graph paper and paint the squares with texture. The disadvantage was that the paper was in 2D (2 dimensions). Now, with the yarn I can make changes immediately.*
Cuando diseño animalitos, siento que me quedan curiosos. En este momento creí tener en manos la cabecita de un leoncito. Me faltó arreglarle su melena y listo, jaja.
>*When I design little animals, I feel that they are curious. At this moment I thought I had the head of a little lion in my hands. I just had to fix its mane and that was it, jaja.*
...Claro, le faltaba una **característica escencial** de los **Camélidos sudamericanos**, sus **enormes pestañas**. No sé si haz visto a uno real, pero yo sí. Te **miran fijamente a los ojos** y colocan sus orejitas hacia atrás, o sino te escupen.
Tengo unos retos más con este diseño, y uno de ellos es simplificar el patrón para que lo puedas replicar desde cualquier parte del mundo...si amas a las alpacas, claro.
