Me encuentro muy feliz con la vida, aprovechando las oportunidades tejeriles por supuesto, jaja. Esta vez asistí a un **Outlet** de [Malabrigo](https://www.instagram.com/malabrigooutletlima/), aquí habían **lanitas e hilados de razas de ovejas, alpaca y tipos de algodón**. ¡Veḿos cómo fue esto!. >*I find myself very happy with life, taking advantage of weaving opportunities of course, jaja. This time I went to a **Outlet** in [Malabrigo](https://www.instagram.com/malabrigooutletlima/), here they had wool and yarn from sheep breeds, alpaca and cotton types.* ---------------------------- ----------------------- ### ¡Hamuy! ### *Let's go!*  *Llegando al lugar || Arriving* Tras 1/2 hora de caminata (desde la Estación Cabitos del Tren Metro línea 1), a lo lejos ví al **Hotel Aloft**, lugar donde sería el evento. Estos muñequitos me dieron la bienvenida. >*After a 1/2 hour walk (from Cabitos Station), in the distance I saw the **Aloft Hotel**, where the event was to take place. These little dolls welcomed me.* ### El objetivo de tejer los Grannies ###  *Grannies square de ejemplo || Example granis square* Si eres nuevo tejiendo Grannies o experta, de seguro estas combinaciones de colores te encantarán. También **se podía tejer a 2 palitos o agujas**. Cierto, la idea de tejer los Grannies es para luego unirlos **formando ropa abrigadora** como gorros, chompas, chalinas, cuellos, ponchos, entre otros; para [Misiones de emergencia](https://www.instagram.com/misionesdeemergencia/), quienes la **donarán** a poblaciones vulnerable quienes se encuentran hospitalizados. >*If you are new to weaving Grannies or an expert, you will surely love these color combinations. You could **also knit them with 2 sticks or 2 needles**. Of course, the idea of making the Grannies is to knit them together **to make warm clothes** such as hats, pullovers, neck scarves, cardigan, ponchos, among others; for [Emergency Missions](https://www.instagram.com/misionesdeemergencia/), who **will donate** them to vulnerable populations who are hospitalised.* ### Mi objetivo además de los Grannies ###  *Probando lanitas || Testing woollies* Al inicio les comenté que esta era una oportunidad para mí... la de **probar lanitas**. Uno de mis sueños sigue siendo tejer mi chaleco de Saxra y para esto debo aprender tejer prendas de vestir. Para esto, aquí aproveché a conocer **el comportamiento de las distintas lanitas con la tensión de mi tejido**. >*At the beginning I told you that this was an opportunity for me... to **try wool**. One of my dreams is still to make my Saxra waistcoat and for this I have to learn how to weave clothes. For this, here I took the opportunity to get to know **the behaviour of the different woollens with the tension of my crochet**.* ### Crochet en mano e hilos a elección ###   *Entre lanitas de colores || Among colored woollens* Felizmente había un **patrón para guiarnos**, aún así al inicio me tocó destejer varias veces (la emoción, jaja). Este patrón de Granny fué nuevo para mí, tenía **2 mitades en diagonal distintas**. >*Happy there was a **pattern to guide us**, even though at the beginning I had to unweave some times (the emotion, jaja). This Granny pattern was new to me, it had **2 different half patterns**.*    *Misión cumplida || Mission completed* Tras las enseñanzas de Verónica de [Crocheteable](https://www.instagram.com/crocheteable/), logré tejer el **Granny de 2 colores sin cortar el hilo**. También probé tejer el Granny con lana gruesa (para mí), me emocioné tejer con mi crochet de 6 mm... Sí, **llevé mi set de crochet** el cual no los usé hasta este momento. Cuando me tocó **tejer algo distinto a los muñequitos**. >*After the teachings of Veronica from [Crocheteable](https://www.instagram.com/crocheteable/), I managed to knit the **Granny in 2 colors without cutting the yarn**. I also tried to crochet the Granny with thick yarn (for me), I was excited to crochet it with my 6 mm crochet... Yes, **I brought my crochet set** which I didn't use until now. When it was **my turn to crochet something other than the little dolls**.* ### Outlet Lima, variedad de lanitas ###     *Texturas, colores, ropas, etc* Ahora ya tengo idea cuando se refieren a **Outlet**. Y no es necesariamente por los precios creo, sino por la **variedad de lanitas e hilados**. Sé que para elaborar ropa se requiere más de 100g de lana o hilo y eso para mí es demasiado en términos monetarios... Y creo que es por eso que hasta ahora no me animo a tejer ropa. **Aquí, conocí a tejedoras de prendas de vestir**. Ellas sí eran unas **maestras tejiendo tanto de 2 agujas como crochet**, también **habían principiantes** como yo. >*Now I have an idea when they mean **Outlet**. And it's not necessarily the prices I think, but the **variety of wool and yarn**. I know that to make clothes you need more than 100g of wool or yarn and that for me is too much in monetary terms.... And I think that's why I haven't been encouraged to make clothes so far. **Here, I met women weavers of clothes**. They were **masters of both 2 needle and crochet knitting**, and there were **also beginners** like me.* ### Regreso a casa ###     *Lanitas de oveja Merino* Esta experiencia me sirvió para **tener una idea de qué grosor de lanitas o hilos** adquirir cuando quiera **tejer un gorro o chaleco**. Me llevé estas **lanitas Merino** con chispitas...yo pensando en mis próximos personajes. Si tienes la oportunidad de ir a estos eventos por tú zona, te recomiendo que vayas...aunque quede algo lejos, jaja. Se aprende un montón, además de conocer el lado humano de las personas. >*This experience served me to **get an idea of what gauge of wool or yarn** to buy when I want to **weave a hat or jacket**. I took with me these **Merino wool** with sparkles...me thinking about my next characters.* >*If you have the opportunity to go to these events in your area, I recommend you to go...even if it's a bit far away, jaja. You learn a lot, as well as getting to know the human side of people.* ¡Y eso es todo!
