Back to reading Mangas

It may not seem like it, but I used to prefer books over movies and other media. I always favoured the books over the movies. Because movies, due to time constraints, have to skip over parts of the book that make the story interesting. And at times, instead of showing us the story, they cram in a lot of exposition. And I guess the same is the case with Anime and manga. By god, the filler arcs can sometimes be such a mood killer. I still haven't forgiven Bleach for the Bount Arc. I mean, WTF. Although Bleach is trying to make a comeback in the anime with the Thousand-Year Blood War arc. I already read the manga back in 2016 and imagined the showdown in my head. Still remember the excitement whenever the new chapter drops.

Manga02.png Source My manga reading started in desperation. The anime was Naruto, and right in the middle of the Team 10 and Akatsuki’s Hiddan battle, the person who used to download the episodes on a pendrive and share them with us has stopped the services. Being it was the age of the slow internet connection and the guy who used to facilitate had to move to a different town. The only way was to download the episode from an Internet cafe, where there's no guarantee that the episode will get downloaded properly. So I turned to the original source of the story. The Mangas. And boy, I was hooked on the Mangas like it was some kinda drug. Read, Eat, Sleep, Wake up and Repeat. I mean I had nothing against the Anime, in fact, I love them for the creativity and the style, and awesome animation. Nothing comes close to the Iconic Panels. Manga is like the best frames from the anime.

Manga03.png Source I wish I could draw like these mangakas. I gift of telling a compelling story with the use of images is something. What made me go back to manga well I can give the partial credit to the post from @yugadi. This post made me pick up a book from my collection (BTW I am yet to unpack the box. It's been more than 8months since I moved to New Town and I have unpacked the box that has my book collection.) At this stage, my reading is slow, and I get bored when there is no image attached. That's what reminds me of this old friend of mine. Manga - Fewer words and More Action. So I am back to reading Manga, and I started with Jujutsu Kaisen. The Manga is still ongoing, but it's nearing the end, so I am not seeing any issue. After that, I will start with some other Manga. I am planning on exploring the comedy genre, haven't read one yet, but I hope there is more stuff like Gintama around in this world.

Hey Folks, AmRc67RgYaWTamZtjiRVK9pxDgRdg2RtnXmG5dbeGuzK3WNfkBktwpfdnofLDopKHu5cSDW9A9AYeUFnLPLU4heyASYZXDyZM6uKkFfgBEJkiq2nS8tDdV7RvK8Wq2Vwz1KT1Vpdx6MnGBNifACegCZ76AAP9XPs.png?format=match&mode=fit Thanks for reading this post, and I would appreciate it if you could recommend any manga that are must-read. This will help me with my overall reading habit. Maybe then, at least I will read the documents that I sign. A big thank you to India United and the BeAwesome community for supporting me. image.png
