I think I've mentioned my goal of touching the 5K HP goal somewhere in my previous blogs. I mean, it's a shame that after being 8years on this platform, I still haven’t touched the 5K mark, and I am not comparing myself with anyone here. But I think it's high time that I graduate from a minnow to a Dolphin.
I was somewhere around 2k at the start of this year. And I decided to change that. And the change started with small things like being more active on the Hive platform and interacting more. And @hivebuzz is someone I would like to thank; the gamification of the activities really helped. This year, I only missed 2 power-ups (March and June). I dont remember the reason, but I think mostly because of Health. But after June, I didn't miss any PowerUp after that; instead, I doubled down. Earlier, the goal of HPUD was to do a power-up and earn an HPUD badge. But later on, I shifted my goal from earning the badge to increasing the HP. I started adding 100HPs on every HPUD.
With the increase in HivePower and Interaction, My account started seeing a good growth. If you check the chart below, you can see the growth has pushed up since June. With regular 2-3 posts per week, I found a new hope that and maybe 5K goal isn't that unrealistic. There was another good action that I took this year. For the month of feb I targeted the monthly author badge. And guess what, while it took a tremendous amount of concentration and work, I finally got my maiden Monthly author badge. And that was the moment when my respect for all the daily content writers increased. Infact, I was so committed that I completed PUM challenge for Jan and Feb, where the user has to power up every day. And as a reward, the user will get a badge and delegations. This also boosts the account growth. And all these small things contributed to the big jump. So the plan of this month is to not leave the 5K goal for Dec end, but rather this month. Let's see how far we can go with this challenge. Wish me Luck, I am definitely going to need it.
