Hello hivers, it’s a brand new week and I want to share my activities on hive last weekend with the planned Road show team. We got informed on the whatsapp group of plans to have a Hive road drive on Saturday 13th September, by @beauty197 and everyone welcomed the idea. The purpose was to create awareness on the benefits of the Hive platform to as many as possible who would like to be part of it or find the activities on the @ecency platform worth their while.
On the agreed date, we all met up at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Surulere Lagos to create awareness to passersby and visitors to the Stadium. It was a beautiful environment so while we spoke to people we took the opportunity to go round the stadium and view some of the beautiful sights. Many people were busy as they all had different activities they were doing at the stadium. Some had come to work out, others for volleyball and other games, and others came for their fighting competition. There were also those who are always there for their business ventures.
We hung up our banner for passersby to view and tried to converse with many of them. We were able to get contacts of some people who were interested but didn’t have the time to get on board on the spot. Arrangements were made to meet up with them some other time to do that.
A couple of people waited to listen to what we had to share, got on board, learned about Hive, the ecency app, how to post content and engage with other users. They were then mentored on the different communities available on @ecency, the waves and other areas of hive. There was a plan to return to the newbies for continued mentorship and others we promised to meet up some other day.
We ended the day with discussion as a group about the Hive platform, activities for growth and other encouraging deliberations to help us benefit from this amazing initiative. We also discussed plans to visit the stadium some other day as we now have more knowledge of activities in the stadium and around the areas.
