Hello hivers, it's great to be part of this amazing community where we can share our journey on hive. I am particularly pleased because I had a great time learning and sharing with my mentor @beauty197 yesterday and this is my first of hopefully many posts to come on this community.
Some days back our local guide had shared some information on the WhatsApp group on new updates and other features to explore on #hive as a group. One of the updates was on curation trail, what it was and how to join the given curation trail @fokusnow. She explained the benefits of joining the trail and steps to join was shared.
This community, #hivegrowthhub, was another update we received. It was exciting news to learn that our mentor @fokusnow had launched this beautiful community where we specifically learn, share our journey and growth on hive. We are very grateful to him for this great initiative and we join other Hivean in Aba to make this community all it's has been intended to achieve to promote this web3 block chain. Before now I had started making some connections with Hivean from there just by being on this platform but I'm sure with this community, we will collaborate more and become even closer to more Aba hive users.
Again, we got to learn the importance of powering up regularly be it daily or monthly. Staking hive is also another way to boost our ecosystem so we have agreed to power up regularly.
"Patience and consistency are two powerful, but rare virtues in Life - and on Hive! If you have have and hold them, there won't be need to look elsewhere". These were the words of our guide to boost everyone to keep showing up and having fun on hive.
So yesterday, I was contacted by @beauty197 and we made plans to meet up so as to be able to help with the curation trail as I was unable to join as shared on the group. We also met with other onboarded hivers who needed assistance in some aspects of hive and getting on the #ecency app to enjoy the journey with us. @martany particularly was excited and very open to learn about hive. She learned about the #ecencywaves and micro logging and excitedly made posts immediately. She was also encouraged to engage regularly through such posts and comments on other people's post.We also got to learn about the snaps, partook in some contest on hivevecho and how to engage in that area to remain visible on hive.
One beautiful thing about coming together to learn and assist others through their hive journey physically is also the lovely association and bonding time we have because of our common interest. This has drawn me closer to a lot of people I may never have met otherwise. Some others coming in and out of the location we met noticed us and surely are beginning to see that hive is actually interesting to be part of.
We ended the meet up with shopping and I bought some items from Hubmore supermarket and Gracelyn household items store. I am glad that I was able to connect with others through hive, have another shop to spend HBD, grow in the hive ecosystem, assist in bringing others to hive, power up regularly and yes be part of this amazing community.
