Las vi en la carretilla y el vendedor me dijo que la libra costaba 250 pesos. Le dije: “ponme una”. Y puso dos naranjas en la balanza. Entonces guardé las cáscaras para deshidratarlas al sol y hacer ralladura de modo que pueda conservar el sabor natural para echarle a dulces y eso. O simplemente para meterme un pedacito de la cáscara deshidratada en la boca cuando vuelva a darme el antojo y no tener que volver a perder el riñón en una carretilla.  Las semillas me las tragué como si fueran pastillas. Recordé un viejo dicho de mi infancia de que si te tragabas las semillas corrías el riesgo de que te naciera una planta en el estómago. Ojalá y sea, ojalá y fecunde una planta de naranjas en el estómago y que crezca y hasta de frutos. Porque si solo dos costaron 250 pesos… ¿cuánto costaría mi cuerpo con una mata de naranjas en el interior?
